Mammoth Lakes, California Get-Away

California's favorite ski destination, Mammoth Lakes is located in the heart of the Gold Country and High Sierra area of the state. Our Townhome is located at the charming Chateau de Montagne complex at 3251 Chateau Road. The unit is spacious and comfortable with mountain themed furnishings and all the conveniences you'd expect in your vacation home. Our two story home has three bedrooms, two full baths and, one half bath. Downstairs houses the MASTER BEDROOM with both a DOUBLE and TWIN BED. The second downstairs bedroom is IDEAL FOR CHILDREN with a TWIN/TWIN BUNK-BED, single TWIN and even a ROLL-AWAY COT. The third bedroom is upstairs and can SLEEP AN ENTIRE FAMILY with QUEEN BED and TWIN/TWIN BUNK-BED.

After an exhilarating day on the slopes or a long hike, meet up with family and friends and soak in the warmth of the property's shared hot tub, steam sauna and summer pool area directly adjacent to our unit. Wanting some nightlife? Our unit is within walking distance to shops and restaurants so you and your family can enjoy all that Mammoth Lakes has to offer, within minutes. Our unit is a 10 minute walk to grocery stores, movie theaters , private massage, yoga and even bowling. Snowcreek Athletic Club is nearby with a full racquetball gym, weights and more yoga; day rates available.

Our driveway is STOP #17 on the RED-LINE BUS ROUTE TO THE MAIN LODGE (winter only). It's a FREE RIDE to the base of the mountains every 15 minutes. If you don't want the hassle of a shuttle bus you can drive one mile to Eagle Lodge and Eagle Express' 6-Pack chair. The Village is only 1 1/2 miles by Free Shuttle or drive.

The Summer Trolley is also FREE and uses the same bus stops. Leave your car parked in the driveway for the duration of your stay!!

This stay was wonderful!! All the amenities you could ask for and then some! Right off the bat the house was very clean and well prepared for my arrival. It had everything you could think of to cook and prepare meals. It’s conveniently located next to the bus stop that takes you directly to main lodge. I would definitely book another stay at this location!

The best home for a ski trip!

This property was amazing and would definitely book again. We had a large group of friends and it fit everyone perfectly. It was in a great location to walk to the bus stop or Vons. Bernice was very communicative and we loved every minute of our stay.

We had a great stay at Bernice’s place! Plenty of room for our group. Walking distance to the bowling alley, some trails and coffee shop. Bernice was a great communicator and answered all our questions leading up to our trip quickly to help us plan. Would definitely stay here again.

-Roomier than we anticipated -Very comfortable beds, as reported by all guests -Beyond ‘the basics’ were provided -Never once while I prepped food or cooked did I need something that was not available (Huge kudos!) -Very clean -Great location; trolley stops right in front of complex, and we appreciated the Mammoth walking paths being so close! -All appliances worked perfectly -Swimming pool and BBQs nice and close -HOPING to rebook now for next year’s Mammoth trip.

Great location and amenities

The property is well managed and taken good care of and it has all the kitchen and household supplies needed. Great location and close to market. Spa was great with enclosure. A couple things to consider are that one of the extra beds were not in a usable condition and the heated water is used up after about two showers. Overall, it was a nice place and we would stay again.

Excellent Condo for Family and Friends

This condo was excellent for our Mammoth Motocross adventure. The garage was great and was able to store our motocross equipment as well as bikes, rafts, and fishing equipment. The space in the condo fit out for 2 families comfortably. We will hope to return next year.

Very convenient and clean

Been to Mammoth annually for 20 years now and I have to say this was one of the cleanest and most convenient places we've stayed in. The parking space right in front of a usable garage was a game changer. No sloppy mess after each day on the slopes. Convenience of being close to the store and restaurants was huge as well.

Great location

House is great for big groups. Convenient location for the bus and getting to the mountain. However the listing had a double futon in the downstairs bedroom which we were counting on, this ended up being a cot which is in pretty bad shape and wasn’t really feasible to sleep on. There were also only 8 towels in the house so we had to wash daily and rotate through to have enough for 10 people. Otherwise a great stay!

Great place and lots of space

Enjoyed our stay last year so we booked the place a second time. For our group of friends it was great because there were plenty of individual sleeping beds and easy access to bus lines to places. We had an EV so close to charging stations and not too far from Vons market. Especially like having a garage to store all the skiing and snowboarding equipment along with a driveway to keep one of our cars. There were plenty of parking spots for other cars as well. Thank you!!

Wonderful week in Mammoth

My family (4 adults and 2 children) stayed here for a week in February. The place was in a great location. Red line bus stop just out front, walking distance to Vons and multiple restaurants. The beds were very comfortable. We cooked every meal here and had plenty of pots and pans and cooking utensils. The jacuzzi was very close and great after a long day of skiing. The washer and dryer were an added bonus since we were there for a week. The host was very responsive and helpful. The views were beautiful from the top floor. We are already planning on coming back next year!
