We offer a beautiful BEACHFRONT studio in Penca Beach, a magical, secret, small white sand beach only 25min from Tamarindo. This award-winning beach is recognized as one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.

The studio is located in 1-acre beachfront property beautifully landscaped with palm and almond trees. Ocean breeze coming right up to the house, which is only 10feet away from the beach. Large sliding doors connect the studio with the terrace and the beach.

Penca beach is located in a quiet bay, just in front of Chocoyas Island where guests can enjoy kayaking, stand-up paddle and snorkeling in glassy calm waters. Truly unique to enjoy privacy, connect with nature and find balance.

This large bright comfortable studio comes fully equipped: kitchen, fridge, A/C, internet and hot water. The property is attended by a local couple that provide 24-hours security and cleaning services.

From our spacious terrace, you can watch brilliant sunsets, have breakfast or enjoy watching the sea at day or night. The terrace is decorated with a beautiful Spanish style fountain.

Penca beach has obtained 8 years in a row the award of "Blue Flag Beach", a recognition given to the cleanest beaches of Costa Rica. Accessible to any car. Paved road up to 1mile before the beach. The nearest town is Potrero, located also 1-mile away from the property, it is a beautiful small safe Guanacaste town with grocery shops, restaurants, cantinas, and1 a little church.

No shortage of good restaurant options in the area, with Flamingo and Catalinas only within a 10-minute drive. Other amazing beaches in the area include Conchal, Prieta, Sugar beach or Danta. All quiet white-sand paradises to connect with nature.

No COVID cases reported in the area, however, all cleaning measures are reinforced to ensure our guests are safe and happy.

The property was delightful and our late arrival still was warmly welco ed by the manager and her husband. We felt safe to walk the beach and surrounding streets which have some great little eating places. This place was the perfect end to our stay in Costa Rica.

Wow. Never had a harder time leaving somewhere. Never been closer to the beach - and felt it was our own personal beach. Soft sand, waves crashing, and never saw more than a dozen people - hidden gem! Digna / Omar were fantastic, communication was on point, and very hospitable. Location seemed a bit sketchy driving through but learned was not an issue and super safe. Isolated enough to be quiet, 10 mins from shops, cafes, restaurants, 40 to Tamarindo.Hidden gem! Cant wait to stay here again!

This was better than described- such a gem to stay here! Beach was amazing and seen lots of fish snorkelling.Was our favourite place out of our whole trip! We plan to stay here next time we come down.

Amazing stay!

This property was beautiful. Close enough to walk to things but far enough away to feel secluded. Loved waking up and sitting on the beach drinking coffee. Hammocks during the afternoon thunderstorms were fun. This was an incredible space for our anniversary/birthday trip.

The pictures of this place don’t do it justice at all, not to mention the hospitality. As far as I’m concerned, we won’t stay anywhere else next time we are in CR on this side of the country. Hands down the best place to stay on a beach in the world.

What a gorgeous beach and area! So quiet compared with flamingo beach. You can’t beet that view from the room, kitchen and shower! Best sunsets ever. Soft sand beach swimmable.

Cabina Azul was exactly what you see...absolutely paradise. It was the perfect location to see many beaches and towns if you have a car. We loved eating at the local sodas, shopping at the superminis and drinking at the local outdoor bar was a great experience. I would definately stay again.

Digna is the best. She easily accommodated our requests—all through WhatsApp. I am not used to using WhatsApp, but it was definitely the de facto in this area of Costa Rica!
