Le First - Île de Nantes et bord de Loire

In the heart of the Création district in the western part of the Île de Nantes, the First is the ideal place from which to explore our lovely city. Situated on the banks of the Loire and not far from the Machines de l’Île, just a footbridge separates you from the very centre of the city! Whether you’re spending a few days or a few weeks in Nantes, whether for business or for a holiday or weekend break, don’t miss the chance to stay in this unique place!

Located on the 4th floor (with a lift) of a modern, recently built block, with a floor area of 45 m², the First has just undergone a harmonious and cosy makeover! You’ll feel right at home here. The real bonus of this cosy retreat: a secure underground parking space.

The flat is laid out as follows:
- A fully renovated and fully equipped kitchen: oven, fridge, induction hobs, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster. A small bar and two stools will allow you to refuel before setting off to explore the city! For added comfort, there’s also a dining table with four chairs.
- A living room, fitted with a sofa bed (140×200), a flat-screen TV and an internet connection. From the living room, there’s direct access to the lovely balcony, with the added bonus of a view of the Loire!
- The bathroom is practical and well-equipped. For your convenience, a washing machine, a clothes horse, and an ironing board and iron are at your disposal.
- The toilet is separate.
- A bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200). There is also a large cupboard with a hanging rail.
For your comfort, the ‘First’ is fitted with double-glazed windows and roller shutters.

Self-check-in via a key box located in a launderette near the property is possible between 4 pm and 9 pm. For any arrival outside these times, a surcharge will apply and the keys will be handed to you in person.

The neighbourhood:
Once you’ve settled in, you’ll appreciate the location: the banks of the Loire are just a stone’s throw from the building, as are the Machines de l’Île and its famous elephant, and the new shops. Want to get to the very centre of the city? Simply cross the footbridge at the foot of the new Palais de Justice and you’ll be there in under 10 minutes. You’ll then be able to stroll around Nantes’ lovely squares: Place Royale and its fountain, Place Graslin and its superb Opera House, or even explore the magnificent Passage Pommeraye and its charming shops.

Transport:
If you decide to come by car, an underground parking space is available (secure gate and numbered space).

Public transport: the tram is a 10-minute walk away (’Médiathèque’ stop).
To get to Nantes Atlantique Airport, head to the “Commerce” stop: a dedicated shuttle bus will take you there in 20 minutes.
The SNCF railway station is a 5-minute tram ride from “Commerce”.

And if you decide to explore the city by bike, Bicloo stations (bike-share scheme) are available throughout the city (there’s a station just two minutes from your flat, called “Machine de l’île”).

Other notes:
- High-quality bed linen, bath towels and tea towels are provided, and the bed will be made up on your arrival
- To get your stay off to a good start, we’ll provide you with a few coffee pods, tea bags, herbal tea and sugar
- Free Wi-Fi available (fibre optic)
- Pets are not permitted in the accommodation
- Dimensions of the underground car park: Height 2m – Width 2.55m – Length 5.20m

The First accommodation is managed by the Cocoonr Agency in Nantes and will be prepared for your arrival. You will be met on arrival by a member of our team, who will show you round the flat, explain how everything works and hand over the keys.
