Home offers three decks overlooking the lake, a dock all on 100 feet of lakefront with a sandy swimming area on Lower Chateaugay Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Home has Wifi, premium Streaming TV, DVD, AM-FM Stereo, gas grill, washer/dryer and full kitchen. Walk into the lake from your own private beach and private dock., Boating, swimming, fishing from property. Enjoy the evening around the fire pit overlooking the lake with beautiful Sunsets. Don't miss out on one of the nicest rentals on the lake. No more than 6 persons Rental is from Saturday to Saturday.

Great time

Had a great time although the weather didn’t cooperate, enjoyed the camp especially the beautiful backyard. Owners Mickey and Gracie are very friendly people, they answered all our questions and concerns promptly. Would definitely stay there again.

Chateauay Lake Stay

We loved our stay at Chateaugay Lake! Mickey and Grace are fantastic hosts - easy to get in touch with and happy to help. The property is right on the water, with a dock and a walk-in entrance to the lake. It's shallow at the shore and around the dock, the water is very clear, and the sunsets can't be beat. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful location!

The property is amazing and Mickey and Grace are excellent and very responsive hosts! We had a few questions during our stay and they always answered within 5 minutes. The location on Chateaugay Lake was perfect - quiet location, easy lake-side access, and beautiful sunsets. It was about 25min from Malone for groceries, Dunkin', Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, and delicious take-out meals from local restaurants. It is an easy and visually amazing hour drive to Lake Placid and the High Peaks region. Linens and towels were provided and there are a washer and dryer on site, which reduced the amount of clothing we had to bring and made unpacking when we arrived home much more pleasant! We definitely recommend Mickey and Grace and their beautiful lake-side home!

A perfect lake retreat

My wife and I booked a couple of weeks here for a week of vacation and a week of remote work, and everything was just right. The house is very nicely appointed and quite comfortable, and the lake location was beautiful. We spent some wonderful days paddle-boarding and boating on the lake, hiking in the nearby mountains, relaxing around the house, grilling on the deck and driving around and getting to know the area. Mickey and Grace were great hosts and readily available when needed. Everything was well-arranged, they answered any questions very promptly, and were very accommodating. Different people will have different views on this, but we appreciated that the house had everything that we needed and was tastefully decorated, but was not “overly-decorated” or chock-a-block full of curios and the like. In that way, it was very easy to get comfortable there so we felt quite at home. It was really a perfect stay and we certainly look forward to an opportunity to return.

Home away from home

When we arrived at the house , we were greeted by Mickey & Grace, it was like we knew each other for years , they walked us through their home , everything you need is there , the house is spotless . Gorgeous view of the lake and nice fire pit and back deck . A plus to have a washer and dryer 😀 If you like fishing , lower and upper Chateaugay Lake will not disappoint , we are planning are week for next year

Beautiful house and property! The downstairs bedrooms are a bit awkward with one accessible only through another. Lots of stairs... overall, we had a great time, many laughs and a spectacular view.

Cute Spot

Had a great stay at this place. Very cute house and beautiful space on the lake. There are some steps to contend up and down and is fairly close to the road in the front. Neither really bothered me. We spent days dancing to the music from their music system, fishing from the dock, relaxing by the fire, cooking on the grill and able to get some work in when needed with their fast WIFI internet. Mobile phone service readily available on the premises which is great on this lake. We love being able to spend time on the lake each summer and really enjoyed our stay.

Pre-celebration hideaway

As parents and brother of the groom & as such wanting to attend the pre-wedding events, we needed a place close to the bride's parents, yet apart from the hustle and panic. This lakefront cabin was perfect for us, and I hope we can go back there again and again.

Beautiful sunsets and sunrises, canoeing over beautiful chateautigay lake.Catshing nice size small mouth bass. Just a few of the activities that made our stay most enjoyable and most of all very clean and nice living enviorment. What more would you want ? Plan to visit back again.

A Great House for an Adirondack Week

Our family of five had an amazing time at this wonderful property. From touch football on the lake-front lawn to evenings on the deck and around the fire pit, this house has everything that someone would want in an Adirondack vacation. We rented a boat and zipped around wonderful Chateaugay Lake. The excellent Malone Golf Club is only 30 minutes away and we walked right on the course on a weekday. While we have traditionally spent more time in the High Peaks region, this is a really cool part of the Adirondacks with a ton to do. And if you are looking for hikes -- they are here too. Lyon Mountain is a several-hour climb.

Beautiful retreat!

A great house that accommodated our family of 5! Beautiful lake views and perfect water for swimming. Our children enjoyed playing on the lawn and we loved watching the sunset from the dock. The owners were very nice and we look forward to renting this house again!
