Lovely villa

We had a great holiday staying at this lovely villa. Very well equipped and excellent communication with the owners. Great location for shopping, beach and visits to towns in the nearby area. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in Vendres at the house of Johnathan and Gaynor. The pool and air con were very pleasant as was the rest of the house. It was a great location and very handy for supermarkets open every day till late. Jonathan was super helpful with information including recommendations. Th planks very much

La maison est agreable. Toutefois, elle est annoncée comme climatisée, alors que seul le salon l'est. Il n'y a pas de climatisation dans les chambres et les petits ventilateurs fournis ne servaient pas à grand chose. C’était pourtant un critère essentiel dans notre recherche. Le lit de la chambre principale est très inconfortable et bruyant et nous a obligé à déménager dans des chambres a lits individuels. L'ensemble de la famille n'a pas pu se reposer sur la semaine et est donc déçu du séjour.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. It does state in the house description that the air-conditioning is in the lounge only, with fans provided in the bedrooms. However, I do recognise that it has been exceptionally hot in the south of France this summer. The mattresses are all good quality pocket sprung and the same throughout the house. I wasn't aware that the bed was noisy, but thank you for bringing it to my attention. I have addressed this and will endeavour to replace any fans that are inadequate.

Huis is ok maar verdient een opknapbeurt.Airco in de slaapkamers ontbreekt. Is met de huidige weersomstandigheden echt wel een must. Veel gerief is aanwezig. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding kan beter.

Sehr schöne Ferien in perfekter Umgebung

Das Haus hat uns 8 sehr gut Platz geboten. Alles ist in ausreichender Anzahl für 10 Leute vorhanden. Der Pool hat allen viel Spass gemacht, war sehr sauber. Die Terrasse inkl. Couch Lounge war die Ruhezone und der perfekte Ort für gemeinsame Essen und Spielen. Die Zimmer gemütlich eingerichtet und mit guten Betten. Das Haus war guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu Wanderungen, Besichtigungen oder dem Strand. Die Gastgeber sind gut organisiert und das Haus prima vorbereitet und gemütlich. Man merkt, dass es nicht nur fremdvermietet wird, sondern die Besitzer selbst viel Zeit und Arbeit reinstecken.

Sehr schönes Haus an guter Lage

Hat alles gepasst. Das Haus ist sehr schön und grosszügig eingerichtet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. Nebenan ensteht ein neues Quartier. Der Baulärm war fast nicht hörbar und dadurch nicht störend. Die Arbeiter waren auch nicht lange vor Ort. Das Dorf Vendres bietet ein paar kleine Läden für das Nötigste (zwei Bäckereien, Spezialitätenladen und ein kleiner Shop für alles andere). Der Carrefour ist für Grosseinkäufe auch in ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Strände sind auch nur wenige Auto Minuten entfernt. Am Abend ist es in Vendres sehr ruhig (was uns sehr gefallen hat). Die Broschüre des Vermieters hat einige gute Tipps für Ausflüge, Restaurants, etc.

Alles bestens

Das Objekt ist wie in der Anzeige beschrieben und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt waren wir 10 Personen. Hervorzuheben ist, dass die Schlafzimmer und die Küchenausstattung auch für diese Personenanzahl wie beschrieben bestens geeignet sind! Die Lage ist etwas abseits, aber mit dem Auto ist alles gut zu erreichen. Aber auch das entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Gegenüber des Hauses war im August 2022 eine größere Baustelle am Entstehen, auf der jedoch während unseres Aufenthaltes wohl urlaubsbedingt nicht gearbeitet wurde. Insofern war das für uns kein Problem.

séjour conforme à notre attente

Belle maison située au calme, malgré quelques travaux en face de la maison, très beau jardin et super piscine. Equipement au top, mais seul bémol, la clim qui n'est que dans le séjour. Il faudrait l'étendre aux chambres ! .... SURTOUT en ces périodes de canicule.

Confortable maison bien équipée ; jardin et piscine très agréables.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Le quartier est calme, bien situé. La maison est vaste, bien conçue, bien équipée pour 10 personnes, propre et en très bon état. Le jardin est beau, la piscine est très agréable. Petit bémol car le barbecue était HS (très regrettable en été) et le toit de la terrasse très abîmé. Il fallait jongler avec les parasols, qui du coup n’étaient plus disponibles pour les transats de la piscine. Très bons échanges avec le propriétaire qui répond rapidement. On a bien envie de revenir. Merci.

Merci pour vos commentaires, Marie-Line. Je vous présente mes excuses pour l'absence de barbecue et les bambous endommagés sur le toit de la terrasse. Comme je vous l'ai dit, il a été difficile de régler ces problèmes car le verrouillage de Covid nous a causé quelques difficultés. Ces points seront traités avant la saison prochaine.

Great house

Tje house is very nice and perfect for 2 families. Swimming pool and garden are perfect. Visits to Carcassonne and Bezier are made easy from Vendres. We all had a great time.

Perfect home for a chill vacation

With the warm weather, blue skies, we spent a lot of time in the pool and had all meals outside. The house is a mini-paradise. The home and property is very clean. The pool area can be closed off at night, which makes it very safe with young kids. The hosts are very responsive. The lovely backyard, a patio, lounge area, bright flowers and grass makes it a dream to read, chat or play outside. While the town is pretty small, it still has a few good shops and a market a few days a week. We had a lovely holiday. Thank you!

Very pleasant stay

We enjoyed a lovely week here! The house is well equipped and the house provided an excellent spacious safe environment for children. Having the pool cover was super because you could be safe in the knowledge the children could roam freely and safely and they equally loved the pool - much swimming was done! Lovely large areas for enjoying meals and an evening drink and the area is excellently places for visits to Montpellier and Valras-Plage was a real treasure. The French people in the area were super friendly and helpful and we would definitely think of coming back again! Thank you for creating a lovely comfortable space!

Fabulous holiday

We were a family group of 7 covering 4 generations. Everyone had a great time enjoying the pool, the nearby beach and the local village. The villa is very well set up and in a great location. We would highly recommend the in-house meal service as they were very good with Mike and Barb being the perfect hosts. Would definitely return. Many thanks for a lovely holiday.

A beautiful, comfortable and extremely well equipped villa, perfect for a family holiday.

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful villa. It is very comfortable and is extremely well equipped. The outside seating and dining table was a lovely place to relax, the garden was beautifully maintained and the pool was great. The pool cover meant we could relax while our little ones ran around in the garden and also kept the pool beautifully warm (especially for May). Both the owners and the house keeper Barb have been very accomodating and welcoming (even going to the effort of repatriating a forgotten favourite soft toy) We liked the location as was great to be able to stroll to pick up bread and croissants and to the local bar and plenty to see and do locally. Would definitely recommend.

Stunning property close to amazing beaches

We have spend a fabulous week in this large , well equipped beautiful house . The house is finished to an extremely standard with everything you would require for a relaxing holiday . The 5 bedroomed property is extremely spacious , great for a large group , the pool is a good size along with the well kept garden. The location is ideal to explore many of the quaint French towns , beautiful , vast beaches and the nature reserve , also plenty of restaurants in Valras plage . We enjoyed the peacefulness whilst actually at the house , great for relaxing but a nice walk into the local village Vendres. Liked the very easy and short drive from bezier airport and also the brilliant supermarket close by with an amazing fish selection. A brilliant holiday , thank you Gaynor and Jon

Beautiful house, pool and garden

The best holiday villa we've ever stayed in - the owners have gone to so much trouble to equip the house with everything you could possibly need, lots of good quality kitchen equipment, comfy beds, British channels available on TV, absolutely brilliant eating out area on the shaded terrace, and enough sunbeds for everyone around the beautiful pool in a well tended, large attractive garden. Perfect for children as the house is on a quiet cul-de-sac, the garden is secure and the pool has a rigid cover, so no safety worries. English housekeepers Barb and Mike are on hand in the next village to help with any problems that might arise - we got caught by Ryanair's cancellationfest and our return flight was cancelled. Barb and owner Jon couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. We would certainly return here and can't recommend it too highly.

Another fantastic home from home holiday in this lovely house!

Repeat trip and we weren't disappointed. Barb & Mike ( the housekeepers/chefs) were the icing on the cake. Thoroughly recommend for families, particularly wonderful for my two boisterous children who at 6 and 5 were in seventh heaven with the pool. We'll be back!

Lovely property, for two families to share.

The property had everything we needed, great layout for two families especially having two good sized bathrooms! Property clean and well maintained! The pool was the highlight of the week and kept 5 happy young teens occupied. We loved the out door seating area and large out door dining we spent every moment outdoors, a great social gathering. Whilst the weather was extremely hot we did manage to go to Narbonne to the market and wander down the canal, followed by a visit to Le Somail and a trip up the canal, great places to eat and a pretty village. beaches great nearest the PGL campsite As had water sports, showers and loos! Fantastic week, highly recommended!
