Rexaxing stay

We really enjoyed our stay everything was as dèsscribed. Great spacious, interesting property close to everything we needed. Well equipped and comfy beds. Richard was great, very helpful and accommodating he even met us as we got off the bus on arrival. The champagne very nice thank you. Beautiful scenery. Fantastic bakery next door and supermarket and cafes very close too. Talloires is a very pretty place and good location for water sports we would recommend and stay again.

Family of 7 stayed 2 teenagers, 2 twenty something and 3 older!

Excellent location and property for our family. Lots of space. We used the top kitchen for breakfast and lunch and the bottom for an evening meal. We played table tennis daily in the house and at the beach. The restaurants and beach bar come alive at the weekends with live music. There is loads to do from the door we were active everyday and swam most days in the lake. We hired a car from Geneva Airport french side be warned many agencies finish at 8pm including Alamo so we lost our deposit on car hire as flight was delayed. Luckily we hired two cars and Avis waited for us and they upgraded us to a 7 seater. You don't need a car as there is a free bus to Annecy and the mountains in the summer from Tailloires.

Week-end en famille

Très bel endroit et nous avons eu un temps superbe. Nous avons profité de la montagne, du lac, de jolies balades ainsi que de la salle de jeux. Merci à Richard pour son accueil chaleureux.

Character property right in the centre of Talloires

We stayed at Richard’s place for a two week family holiday with our three teenagers and two of their friends. The house is set up as two apartments set over three levels which join together as one large house. It is very well equipped and we enjoyed cooking every day. The main part of the house is old and there is a beautiful stone-built basement area containing a dining room and playroom, both of which are lovely and cool even when outside is 35 degrees. The rooms are spacious and well set out and it is a great base for exploring the area. The location in Talloires is perfect. Fantastic bakery opposite the front door, supermarket 30 seconds’ walk, Basecamp café (and cycle hire) by the supermarket. 5 minute walk to the lake - we swam at least once every day. Richard was very welcoming and helpful and we had an amazing holiday - definitely coming back.

Wonderful quirky property idea for our stay. Very central to the facilities and easy access to the lake. Hide & seek was such fun for our kids. Richard is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful.
