About this property
Elk Ridge cabin with great views near Yellowstone
Just the right amount of rustic, this cabin is also quite secluded with a few neighbors, including deer, elk, foxes, eagles, hawks, magpies, blue birds, finches, gophers, and more! Located with an awe-inspiring view of the mountains and so close to Yellowstone and Chico Hot Springs, and the western town of Livingston. Livingston and Emigrant offer nice dining, breweries, an array of art galleries and other unique shops. Chico`s pool is outdoors, wonderfully clean as water is fresh every day.
It is quaint with its knotty pine interior, river rock fireplace and custom log bed! It`s setting is perfect to create an awesomely memorable visit. You may come to visit Yellowstone Park, but you may find that you won`t want to leave the cabin! Hideabed has got a newer plush mattress to make our guests more comfy.
Apple and Bing maps have the neighborhood streets wrong, so please be attentive to my directions and map that I send you. Weber gas BBQ, outdoor fire pit, washer and dryer, WIFI (12-20 MBPS) and satellite television, heat and air conditioning, gas fireplace logs for ambiance in the evenings. Birdseed for the bird feeder, spotting scope. Firewood and propane are provided. Smoking outside please.
Minimal, yet nearby if needed. We live on the way to the cabin and if we see you arrive, we may just check in to see if all is wonderful! We are sensitive to your privacy, yet always available by phone, text, or in person, if needed.
Its location in the valley with great views in all directions, quiet, peaceful area not too far off of a paved road. Love seeing wildlife every day, yet close to town and Yellowstone Park, fishing and hiking within 15 minutes. During wintertime, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, dog-sledding, snowmobiling are a short distance away!
Car, motorcycle or bicycle. Free bus from Livingston to Bozeman on weekdays. Uber now available in the area and Bozeman.
Dogs are welcome for an additional fee of $10 each day to a maximum of $45 for a week. Longer stays or more dogs will be slightly more. The 8% Montana accommodations tax is included in the price. We request that dogs not be left in cabin without approval of the host. Host does have medium size crates available. If you are booking more than 10 months into the future, host has right to confirm prices as occasionally calendars go into automatic pricing which is not reflective of peak season pricing. Thanks for your understanding. HOUSE RULES
1. Please use the large wall-mounted heater as the main source of heat. This heater is separately metered at 50% off the normal electrical rate. Only smoke outside with the door and/or windows closed. 3. Campfires when there is little to no wind. 4. In the winter when temperatures are below 40, one must use the smaller electric heaters. I had a wonderful time here. The cabin is cozy and very well stocked with games and cooking supplies. Vicky and Melissa are great hosts- they gave great information on directions and were responsive to any questions I had.
We absolutely loved our stay at your beautiful cabin! The cabin has all the extras and also a big beautiful log bed that is very unique! The scenery is gorgeous with stunning mountains all around. We spotted some deer drinking from a water source using the spotting scope that is there set up in a window at the cabin. We went to Chico hot springs and had a nice soak on New Years day, and also had the most awesome pizza and cinnamon rolls ever from Engine Room in Livingston. It was a very magical place! We will be back again. Thank you for sharing your awrsome cabin with us!
We had the best stay at Vicky’s cabin. Everything was as pictured, clean & not far from town! We will definitely be staying again when we’re back in town! Highly recommend
We will be there again and again it’s amazing location. The cabin is Perfect has everything you need Plus and the view is outstanding. It was very clean. We loved every minute hated to leave.
We only had two nights here but the cabin was decorated in that “cabin” style but so tasteful. We had everything we needed and more. Waking up to deer outside was an added treat! Want to come back when we have more time. Ready to fine our cabin in paradise.
This place is everything it claims it is. I had a terrific relaxing stay in a great cabin.

About the host
Your host
I love to travel and have had a dream of owning a small resort with cabins and now I am enjoying a version of that in hosting cabins near Yellowstone Park and homes and condos near Scottsdale and Surprise in Arizona. I was born in Snoqualmie, Washington and have lived around the Seattle area during college and afterwards, sold real estate with Windermere in Bellevue and Kirkland. Than I discovered Paradise Valley.

Great cabin on a very special piece of property with views of the mountains and the Yellowstone River to boot!
