It was a cute cabin with great amenities and it is in a great spot. Very close to the Hot Springs. Very close to the river very close to the entrance of Yellowstone. We really enjoyed our stay here and we’ll do it again.
Very clean and comfortable. Host responded quickly any time we had questions or needed help with anything. Would stay here again

Cozy Comfort in The Last Best Place
A cozy and comfortable stay at The Yellow Stonefly Cabins was just what our family needed. The interior is a comfort connoisseurs dream and the location is absolutely breathtaking. Located in close proximity to Chico Hot Springs (5 min away) and Yellowstone National Park (about 30 min away), this was the prime location for my family of 4. With all the fun attractions so close by it made adventuring with young children so convenient to be able to come and go as we pleased for nap times or a quick bite to eat.
The beds were beyond cozy, the bathroom size was generous and, one of my favorite personal touches, a nicely stocked coffee bar. It was so lovely to wake up in the morning, enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise in the aptly named, Last Best Place. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Pray, Montana - The Yellow Stonefly Cabins is the place to go!

Hi there! We’re EJ and Natalie, the proud owners of Yellow Stonefly Cabins.
Our journey together started over a decade ago at Montana State University where we discovered our shared passion for the outdoors. Though we both grew up in Colorado—Natalie in the mountain town of Crested Butte and EJ in the cow town of Greeley— Montana has always had our hearts.
EJ has a degree in Fish and Wildlife and has spent years working with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, exploring the mountains, rivers, and backroads of this incredible state. He knows these waters like the back of his hand and never passes up an opportunity to fish. Natalie, on the other hand, has spent the last five years managing vacation homes in Big Sky, helping travelers experience the magic of Montana firsthand. Together, we’ve built a life centered around adventure, whether it’s casting a line at sunrise, hiking to a new alpine lake, skiing through fresh powder, or loading up our Airstream for a weekend escape.
No adventure is complete without our two Labrador retrievers, Honey and Bo, who rule our world (and would argue that they actually own the cabins). If you see them trotting around the property, just know they’re on very important business—mostly greeting guests, sniffing out the best trails, and scouting for snacks.
In November of 2024, we took a leap and purchased this special property, fulfilling a dream we’ve had for years. We instantly fell in love with the charm of these cabins and the breathtaking setting of Paradise Valley, and we knew we wanted to create a space where others could experience the same sense of peace and adventure that we feel here.
We have big plans in store—from exciting new additions to thoughtful little spruce-ups—all with the goal of making Yellow Stonefly Cabins an even more welcoming and beautiful retreat. This summer will be a busy one, but we’re embracing every moment of it, and we can’t wait to share this journey with you
