Every house has a story but few are as iconic as La Piccola Casa. Built in early 1900, La Piccola has had a diverse journey. This lovely Victorian lady spent her early years as a Pacific Grove residence before becoming La Piccola Pizzeria & Coffee Shop in 2005. After years of serving thousands of guests, La Piccola has taken on a new life. Lovingly restored by restaurateurs, Joe & Laurie Rombi, she has returned to her roots as a residence while still retaining memories of her culinary past.
The space
La Piccola is an authentic Victorian with all of the modern conveniences and amenities any savvy traveler could want. This two bedroom, two bath cottage has pillow top queen beds, crisp white linens and fluffy bath towels along with individual toiletries. La Piccola comes complete with brand new washer/dryer, utility sink, hair dryers, USB plugs by every nightstand, reverse osmosis drinking water tap, cable television with 60" plasma TV, high speed WiFi and Sonos system. Just bring your own passwords for Netflix, Hulu, etc and you're ready to stream any content you choose.
Standing in the well-equipped, restaurant inspired kitchen, you can almost smell the pizza baking from years past. It's equipped with all the basics including a Keurig coffee maker with , coffee pods, sugar, tea kettle and assorted teas. Given La Piccola's culinary history, your food will almost cook itself!
Original features abound like hardwood floors and pressed tin and bead board ceilings. Memorabilia of La Piccola's past abound with each having its very own story. This historic, home-like space will not only take you back in time, it will pamper you with the highest level of hospitality and comfort.
