Halfmoon Paradise Cottage - Lakefront Luxury Cottage

Encompassed in the natural beauty of Haas Lake, our cottage is an ideal destination to consider when planning your next vacation escape. With 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, this lovely country cottage offers a total living area of over 2700 sq ft and comfortably accommodates 6 guests. Our privately situated vacation house is located within 5 minutes of beautiful Haliburton Village.

Our prestigious cottage offers the added luxury of an open concept interior design featuring warm pine flooring, a gourmet kitchen with custom-built cabinetry, a lake-view dining room and a cozy lakeside living room. Step out onto our extensive deck with its sunny southern exposure and overlooking the panoramic view of Haas Lake. The fully finished walkout basement has a recreation room equipped with a pool table, ping pong table and table hockey table. Along with a sitting room and propane fireplace, it's ideal for hours of relaxation and quality time with family and friends alike.

Outside the grounds are beautifully maintained and only steps from your own private boat dock where fishing is a popular past-time for many of our past and returning guests. A private sandy beach is situated on the shore of this pristine lake where you can enjoy a refreshing dip on a hot summer day or a tour on the lake in a paddle boat we have provided for your enjoyment.

IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES:
- No loud parties or noise after 11:00 pm.
- Minimum age requirement for the primary renter is 25
- High-Season Summer Bookings include Mid-June, July, August, and early-September (minimum 7-nights)
- All Long Weekends (excluding Labour Day) (minimum 3 nights)

ADDITIONAL FEES
- Pet fee applies for per pet per stay. A maximum of 2 well-behaved pets are welcome (owner pre-approval is required)

OPTIONAL SERVICES & FEES
- Linens and towels are NOT provided. We can supply linens and towels for an additional fee.
- Hot tub available for an additional fee (closed for July & August)

The cottage was amazing!!! But we wanted a cottage with a hot tub because we were doing a lot of outdoor activities. We payed extra to have hot tub and there was hardly any water in it and it was dirty when jets turned on wasn’t a very pleasant experience for my girls!!! Otherwise it was a great cottage for our family they should just disregard the hot tub because it’s a real letdown

Outstanding weekend away!

Our group of 11 adults rented Halfmoon Paradise from Feb 3-Feb 6 2022. We had an amazing stay from start to finish! Eric was available at any time and was quick to respond to any questions! The cottage is located off of Hwy 118 with very easy access. The driveway was plowed out beautifully and easily accessible. The check in process went smoothly. The cottage itself is extremely roomy and cozy. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with plenty of beds! We made lots of use of the hot tub and the fire pit outside watching the sunsets over the ice! We highly recommend Halfmoon Paradise for any family or group of friends! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again!!

This rental has everything you could need. All the kitchen utensils, appliances, lighter for the bonfire, essential spices, ice & water dispenser on the fridge, etc. The bedrooms and bathrooms are well thought out. There’s actually 3 full bathrooms with showers in all of them (we thought there were only 2 full and 1 powder room). Lots of windows with good lighting. Excellent lakefront with a tree for shade.
