About the host
Hosted by Al Gaivoto
I was born in Portugal, my parents immigrated to Canada where I mis spent my youth. After graduating from an animation course outside Toronto I moved to LA to work for various animation studios, but mainly Hanna Barbera. I also supervised studios in Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Eventually I moved to London UK and worked on TV ads for 20 years. During this time I also worked on the animated film "Who framed Roger Rabbit". I retired to Austria and found this wonderful old house in need of repair. This was always my dream and we set to it.
Why they chose this property
The one thing that attracted me to this property was the old fashioned charm and atmosphere. It is not modern and I did not want to lose the charm. I kept as much of the old feel that I could. Stairs squeak, walls are crooked but this is the way I want it. The views are outstanding, the village is very small but with easy access to shops nearby. the air is clean and please do not bring bottled water, we have the best water in the area.
What makes this property unique
Fresh air, peace and quiet. Great walks straight from the door, and clean lakes within a short distance.
