Modern central apartment with large private garden terrace

A well equipped modern one bedroom apartment with a large outside terace. In a residential street next door to the Glass Museum and a 5 minute walk to all central amenities - bars,tapas bars, restaurants and museums. The apartment makes a great base to explore the city, spend a day on the beach or use the wide range of local transport nearby to explore the cities and villages of Andalucia.

The apartment has a large living/dining area/kitchen with doors out to the private terrace, a double bedroom also with doors to the terrace and a bathroom with full sized bath and a powerful shower.

The apartment is in a small residential block purpose built in 2010 in a residential district adjacent to the city centre. It is on a road which is for residents only so not full of traffic. A short walk takes you to museums, galleries, cafes bars and restaurants whilst the beach at La Malagueta is only a 15 minute walk away.

Best location in Malaga

We had a fantastic time in Malaga at Gary’s apartment.It is located on a very quiet Calle. There are great restaurants nearby and supermarkets. We could walk the entire Centro and beyond every day, which included going to the porto and watching the boats and having a latte.Wonderful people and very welcoming.Cheers from a retired Canadian couple.

Great accommodation fabulous location Surrounded by great restaurants and bars easy walking distance to sea front and the historic area. The only down side was the terrace being totally inclosed making it feel claustrophobic

Stay in Malaga

The ideal place to stay in Malaga. The apartment is perfectly situated. It is close to all the action including restaurants and the beach. The host left a notebook suggesting the best places to see, visit, and eat. I would definitely come back.

Great apartment in a fantastic location

This is a well-appointed and clean apartment in the historic centre of Malaga. It’s within walking distance of lots of bars, restaurants and attractions. The terrace is an excellent feature - we spent a lot of time relaxing there in the shade. Communication with Gary, the owner, was good. I would definitely recommend this apartment for both short and longer stays in the city.

Lovely

This is a lovely flat, light and airy, with a nice little patio to enjoy. It's well appointed and very clean. The street out front is quiet with little traffic but right in the heart of historic Malaga. Everything is within walking distance and the twisting medieval streets are a real treat. We had a very enjoyable few days here.

Comfort and location in Malaga

You can't do much better than this lovely apartment in Malaga. It is ideal for a couple. Immaculately clean and well-equipped. The bed was so comfortable we overslept quite a bit on our first day! :) The patio was fantastic - such a great spot to relax with a coffee. You will not be disappointed!

Great apartment

This is a comfortable, clean, well equipped apartment. The terrace is lovely and shady which would be a real bonus in summer. It’s in a great location with lots of shops, bars and cafes round the corner. Short walk to main points of interest but really quiet street - so sleep was undisturbed. Good communication with Gary before we arrived then with Cairo to arrange entry. Really good experience all round.

This cozy one bedroom had everything we were looking for: a well-equipped kitchen, contemporary furnishings, a nice bathroom, and a lovely outdoor space. This neighborhood, San Felipe Neri, is within an easy stroll to the historic district, the beach and Muelle Uno, as well as just up the block from a vibrant residential area filled with markets and fruit vendors. The hosts, Gary and Ralph, are charming and very accommodating, providing us with tips on local restaurants and services. We were there for 3 months and it was very hard to leave. We will definitely return to this flat.

Excellent location, very clean, great communication

Very nice appartement, close to everything, very clean and well appointed (including beach towels and beach umbrella). We enjoyed very much the patio and the entire appartement. Although in the center of Malaga and steps away from restaurants/bars, it was very quiet. We stayed for 9 days and the parking was a huge advantage. We used the car only when visiting outside Malaga including going to the beaches outside town. The communication was great during the booking and our stay. You need to use the driving instructions provided, Waze/Google driving do not bring you to the correct address (walking instructions do bring you). Luckily the very nice person waiting for us directed us. Once you figure it out, you have no problem getting there. Malaga is a very beautiful city with plenty of reasonable priced restaurants. We followed all the recommendations for restaurants, bars, grocery, markets, etc. provided by the owner. They were amazing, all of them. Anything else we tried on our own was more expensive and of lesser quality. I could not think of a better place to stay in Malaga and we will highly recommend to anyone.

Die Wohnung ist hervorragend. Zu Fuß ist man in etwa 20 Minuten im Zentrum der Altstadt und bei den wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Der Weg durch die engen Gassen und über Plätze ist schon interessant.Alles was man braucht findet man in dieser Wohnung. Sie ist geräumig und sehr ruhig. Auch das Parken direkt unter dem Gebäude war sehr angenehm.Der Gastgeber hat sich um uns gekümmert, wenn Fragen aufkamen.

Mooi appartement en ook dichtbij het centrum.

Goed. De patio biedt weinig privacy omdat de daarboven gelegen appartementen erop uitkeken. Bovendien waren er erg veel muggen. Maar ondanks dat is het een plek om zeker nog eens terug te komen. Cairo was er erg behulpzaam om ons telefonisch naar het appartement te geleiden.

Impeccable

Nous avons été surpris de l appartement qui fut très propre et surtout très bien agencé, cuisine très fonctionnel avec tout les ustensiles. Sdb nikel, chambre très bien avec bon matelas et pas mal de rangement pour les vêtements. Le salon très agréable, avec une clim qui fonctionne très bien, et nous avons surtout apprécier le ventilateur au plafond. Le patio très agréable, malgres des vis à vis avec les balcons du dessus et qui raisonne. L appart est situer vraiment à côté de toutes les commodités et bar et restaurant, Donc en finalité, très content de cette location et bravo pour la décoration de l intérieur. Si vous venez en voiture, n hésitez pas à prendre l option parking souterrain de la résidence , qui nous a été très utile vu les problèmes pour se garer dans les alentours

Magnifique séjour

Notre hôte Cairo a été au top lors de notre arrivée ! Prévenant souriant à l’écoute … Un parking est à disposition ,non repris dans le descriptif de l’annonce et à régler sur place, il nous a été très précieux lors de notre séjour. Un logement conforme à l’annonce très propre !! Très bien situé au cœur d’une petite impasse calme avec une magnifique église !!

Petit bijou à proximité du centre historique

Très joli appartement avec une magnifique terrasse qui donne sur la cour intérieure. Très tranquille tout en étant à proximité du centre historique. Bien aménagé et bien équipé. Chauffage adéquat. Très bien placé

Appartement sombre mais très bien équipé. Il est confortable mais la terrasse à trop de vis à vis pour être pleinement exploitable. Gary est un propriétaire prévenant et très courtois. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir Malaga à pied. Toutes les activités y sont accessibles, commerces, plage, port, monuments etc, tout se fait à pied. Le quartier est très calme et le garage au sous sol est vraiment un plus. Nous recommandons vivement.

Petit appartement très agréable et fonctionnel !

Nous avons passé 5 jours dans ce petit appartement très agréable, parfaitement propre, très fonctionnel, très bien équipé, avec une super terrasse et, indispensable en été, la climatisation. Il est en plus situé à courte distance à pied du centre ville. Et, cerise sur le gâteau, une place de parking en sous-sol. Rien à redire sur l'accueil de Gary et Ralph : rapide, mais correct et un petit mot gentil à la fin du séjour. Si nous revenons un jour à Málaga, nous n'hésiterons pas à retenir à nonveau ce logement.

I am originally from Northern Ireland and after years living and working in London I decided to move to Andalucia and live here full time some 11 years ago after a lifelong love-affair with the country, its people and the culture. Together with my partner we have been running a successful 'Casa Rural' (a restored Andalus farmhouse) in the mountains just north of Malaga. In 2014 we decided to expand, buying a modern apartment in the centre of Malaga - a city we love. For us it´s a city which combines great restaurants and tapas bars, great museums and architecture and a fascinating history, all right beside the beautiful Mediterranean.

Why they chose this property

We spent a long term searching for the right apartment. We wanted an apartment which was close to all our favourite places in Malaga centre but not be on a street full of traffic or noisy at night. Private outside space was also a must as we wanted somewhere to sit outside and have breakfast or enjoy a last glass of wine before going to bed. This apartment mananged to fit all those criteria.
