Stayed at this condo for an extended weekend trip. It's beautifully appointed, and I had timely communication with the owner. I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.
Need to have pics of the neighborhood! This location was not good at all!!! Me and my wife didn’t even go in/check in! Was charged 311 for a night to risk my life! Smh
This place is perfect. Sure I could find a few nitpicky things, but they really aren't worth bringing up. Tom is a great host. This is our 3rd or 4th time staying there and we have always had the same excellent experience.
The space was cute and very clean. I hadn’t realized it’s in a cluster of large apartment buildings, but it seemed pretty safe. Tom was awesome and very responsive.
We stayed for 2 nights, the only complaint was the parking. We were told we had a space however it was taken by someone else. The property owner did advise we could park in permit lot, but we were anxious the whole time we would get towed. Overall it was a good experience!
Stayed one night after a NCSU football game with my wife and another couple. Picked this place due to its proximity to Carter Finley. I knew before booking this wasn't going to be in an upscale are and it was about what I expected it to be. It was comfortable, cozy and I didn't feel unsafe but I would recommend having your handgun with you.
There was someone staying in the unit when we arrived. It was double-booked. Horrific experience.

It was an unfortunate double booking, because of a calendar issue with a different platform. We provided alternative accommodations within a few minutes, but the guest refused and left to stay somewhere else. Not sure why this guest is reviewing a stay that didn't happen and that was canceled and refunded.

Great experience for the price; however, there were some things about the stay that was not expected. The front door definitely needs to be replaced or fixed. The door does not sit in the actual frame all the way and can be moved even when locked. The beds, though functional, were a bit hard to enjoy because they moved quite a bit when you try to get in and the headboards are not attached to the bed or wall. Though you have one reserved parking spot, it was taken several times when we came back to the complex to park. The property is considered a condo but it’s more of an apartment. The neighbors were extremely loud at all hours of the day and there were children playing in the parking lot. That wasn’t an issue for us but the people driving in and out of the parking lot just zoom by people at way to high of a speed. Lastly, the entrance is basically a one way street because people park on the curb that’s a no parking zone and take up one side of the road.
Tom’s apartment was perfect for our stay. He was very accommodating with the check in process, and the home was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
The home was very clean and was a great location to the city.
We had 2 vehicles and parking was not an issue at all. We just parked 1 vehicle on the side of the street coming into the neighborhood. It’s on the 1st level and the outdoor patio is nice to sit outside.
Great location to stay in Raleigh, an easy 10 minute drive to downtown. Property was clean and as listed. We would definitely stay here again when back in Raleigh
Property was nice. Pictures made it look a little better than it actually is. The neighborhood is slightly questionable but we had no issues with anyone or anything.
The VRBO was just what we needed for our stay. We were notified on our way that our place was ready early and since we were running ahead of schedule it was great to get in early. The beds were super comfortable and it was very clean.
The place was nicely decorated and well-equipped with everything you need. The only problem me and my guest had was…
1. I wished the listing had more detailed pictures of the 2 rooms and the master bathroom. I thought I was looking at 2bed/2 bath apartments and when I arrived it was a 2bed/bath and half apartment. I wish I knew before I booked but it was fine.
2. My guest had a encounter with the host wife who gladly walked in without knocking. Thankfully I had the second lock attached because she would of walked straight in.
3. There was a day where it rained and when I went back in my master room, I found a pool of water coming from the window. I just used a towel to get it up but what if I had a child and they slipped and fell.
4. I see now why everyone had problems with parking. At the apartment complex, it only have a certain number of parking and 4 visitor parking spots that was always full. I think the first day someone was in my reserved parking and i couldn’t park in visitor since it was full. So I parked in either “parking permit” spot or someone else parking spot (just until they moved). I wish it was also noted that it would be reserved parking in the property listing so I could know.
Pros: i didn’t have any problem with any neighbors, I thought the place was well diverse from the people I saw outside. It’s very convenient since you are on the first floor. I had a few bags so it was nice not having to go upstairs. I had my parking spot for the remainder of the trip. Overall the beds was very comfortable.
Modern property that was very close to the city. One night we had trouble sleeping due to loud music playing above us until 11:30 or 12, but otherwise everything was great.
