Interior Space

Birch Tree Lodge is a 3-bedroom modern home, which sleeps 6-8 people. The bedroom on the first floor has lovely vaulted ceiling and a full sized bed. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms. The room on your left has three twin beds, a day bed and a bonus room. This is perfect for extra cots. The bedroom to your right has a queen bed. There is a bathroom on each floor. The main floor has a modern open plan, a kitchen decorated with a Southwestern motif, vaulted ceilings and large windows, giving it a rustic cabin feel. Enjoy the gorgeous seasonal mountain views from each window throughout the home from sunrise to sundown! The dining table seats eight, and living room features a fireplace, the perfect spot for quiet music, watching a movie or a lively game night. The contemporary kitchen opens to a screened porch with wooded acre views, and the expansive deck sits on a private meadow and features an outdoor dining area.

Exterior Space

In the summer, enjoy drinks on the breezy porch, or grab your journal and write poems and letters in the spectacular deck space. Roast marshmallows and chat by the outdoor fire pit. Drive to local farmers' markets, eat meals on the deck, experience the famous hiking trails the Catskills offers, fish in a nearby creek, and enjoy golf or tour the local breweries and distilleries. Experience Historic Round Barn (built in 1893) farmer's market in Halcottsville, 15 minutes away (May through November) or drive to famous Phoenicia Diner. Area reservoir and rivers feature water sports, including kayaking, river tubing, raft or canoeing-all at your doorstep! Sunbathe or swim in a nearby lake or take the family fishing in Esopus creek. At night, be sure to name constellations as you stargaze on the porch. It's the perfect spot for a carefree summer week.

In the winter, ski or snowboard in Belleayre Mountain ski resort, just 5 minutes away, and Plattekill Mountain ski resort, just 15 minutes away. Hunter Mountain isn't far and offers snow tubing and winter sports. Take the family sledding on the property after a day on the slopes and come back to the cabin through the mudroom, as you ease into a relaxing evening by the fire. Catskills offers incredible farm-to-table dining. A short visit to Woodstock, Margaretville or Phoenicia offers lunch or dinner options during your stay.
