Our guests enjoy shared use of kayaks, and SUPs (stand up paddle boards) during their stay. Fishermen are welcome to enjoy our fishing kayak.

Trailer parking is located on site in our designated trailer parking area.

Bed linens are provided. Guests will need to bring their own towels.

Pets are welcome, but must be registered and paid for at the time of booking.

You will be contacted via Charleston Lakeside Retreat’s secure reservation system to provide your credit card for a $350 damage/incidental deposit hold, guest details, ID and rental agreement signature. This information is required at the time of booking. Incomplete reservations are subject to cancelation.

Fantastic getaway!

My family and I couldn't ask for a better getaway. We stayed 6 days, 5 nights .The location was easy to find. We were greeted by the lovely Angela (owner) who guided us to our cabin. The property is well kept. What struck me the most was the the million dollar view from Look out cabin 1, once we entered the cabin, we were welcomed by a lovely gift bag from the owners. The cabin was clean, the linens on the beds was beautiful, cozy, clean and comfortable. She provided extra blankets. I loved that the owners upgraded but kept some of history of the cabin. Angela went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. We had lost electricity for a few ours , Angela dropped by made sure we were okay, kept us updated with info from the electric company. I was super impressed when she brought us a big bottle of water, told us to use this for now and if electricity doesn't come back as expected, she'll figure out what to do next. Our trip at the cabin and surrounding areas we visited exceeded our expectations. I definitely recommend and would % book another stay in the near future. Thank you Angela and family for being a super fantastic host.

Great getaway!

Clean, tidy, cute little cabin overlooking the bay. The full kitchen was a blessing for us, and made a weekend with the kids way easier. Check in was a breeze, it was great having the little convenience store across the road for last-minute essentials (and some treats!). Very close to the provincial park, and we were pointed to a great country market just up the road with some fresh veggies, preserves, and steaks for a nice dinner. Our only regret is that we didn't book a couple more days.

Getting out of the city

It was wonderful to hear the choruses of frogs and birds instead of planes and traffic. The view from our deck was beautiful. Everyone community that we met were welcoming.
