About this property
Cabin on lake with sauna - pets ok. Kayaks and boat provided.
Cabin on private lake. Only 5 minutes from Lake Michigan beaches and boat launch. Owners out of sight and sound. Great fishing on supplied jonboat or four single-seat kayaks. Wood-burning sauna next to cabin. There is no toilet inside cabin, only outhouse outside. Water at interior is from provided water jugs hanging over sink. Indoor propane range and wood stove/oven for cooking and heating. Small grill (bring charcoal) and fire pit outside. Batteries supply only a bit of power and a few lights. Pets are welcome just not on beds or futon!
Propane and firewood provided. You'll need only ice/chest, food, and drinking water.

Rustic log cabin with vaulted ceiling and open floor plan. Bunk beds sleep 4 plus there is a full size futon.
Guest access
Entire Hiawatha National Forest bordering the lake.
Other things to note
The cabin is equipped with utensils, plates, pots and pans. We provide 10 gals of water for cooking/cleaning and there is a hand pump and spigot at house if more is needed. We also provide blankets and fresh linen. All you really need is food, ice to keep it cold, and drinking water. 1000 acre lake is shallow with outstanding pike fishing. Bring light spinners. We are located 20 minutes to Kitch iti kipi springs, 1/2 hour to Fayette State Park, 45 minutes to Munising Pictured Rocks, 25 minutes to Manistique. Dollar General and gas station/convenience store located 5 miles east.
