Scenic golf course views and the inviting comfort of this newly renovated property set the stage for a fabulous vacation! The condo is on second level with water views overlooking Sandpiper Bay Golf Course. The condo has wireless internet, smart TVs for streaming (guests must use own accounts) and is pet-friendly with applicable non-refundable pet fee per pet (2 pet maximum).

There are three bedrooms and two full baths with King beds in two bedrooms and 2 long twin beds in a third bedroom. The master bedroom has a King bed, private bath and walk-in closet. This bedroom also has a large screen flat panel television and overhead ceiling fan. There is a screened porch accessible both from the master bedroom and living room that serves as a quiet zone to unwind after golfing or sunning at the beach or pool. The two front bedrooms are furnished with a King bed in one bedroom and two long twin beds in the other. The twins bedroom has a Roku television for added entertainment value. A full bath in the hallway across from the kitchen area is convenient to both of these bedrooms as well as the main area of the condo. The common area floor plan is open and spacious with adjoining kitchen, dining and living areas. The living room features comfortable furnishings with a couch, recliners, large ceiling fan and a 55" smart television, stereo and DVD player. The kitchen/dining area has a dining table with seating for six and additional seating for four at the raised bar. The kitchen is fully-stocked and includes dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, full-size refrigerator and range.The condo has central heat & air throughout for seasonal comfort. There is a full-sized washer and dryer located in the hallway bath.

This condo is perfect for a golf or beach retreat. Sunset Beach is a short drive (4 1/2 miles) and is an unspoiled island with soft white sand. Sandpiper Bay Golf Course is on-site and offers 27 holes for golfers to explore! Walk the expansive grounds and enjoy the abundant coastal wildlife and numerous sea birds that visit the golf course lakes. The community amenities include two outdoor pools, hot tub, charcoal grills and tennis courts. Complimentary linens, towels and departure maid service are included.

The recliner was broken and I reached out to the local realtor office which said a repairman would be by to fix it but wasn’t fixed during our stay. It was nice that our 2 dogs were welcome to stay. The condo size was very comfortable.

The place is comfortable and a beautiful deck view of the golf course. The throw rug in the kitchen and master bath were both unwashed. They were dirty. No wash cloths or kitchen towels available. There were dishes left in the dishwasher that we had to put away from the previous renter.

Great Golf Getaway

Condo was perfect for our golf getaway to celebrate my son‘s upcoming wedding. Everything on the property, including the pool and hot tub, was clean and contributed to an overall great experience. We played the course on the property and the starter and all the staff were exceptional. We will definitely be back!

It’s our go-to in the area

We return every year for a baseball tournament in Bolivia and we choose to stay here. It’s on a beautiful golf course, a short drive to the beach and a short drive to some great restaurants. Quiet neighbors and a welcoming home. You must stay here!

It’s clean but needs a good spring cleaning. The drawers are dirty, behind the window blinds is dirty, closets are dirty. The bed in the second bedroom is not comfortable at all, definitely could use a decent Amazon mattress upgrade. We found a few broken things here and there like AC went down for a day, some on the power plugs are broken, the main tv has a terrible picture ( dark blue tint) which made it hard to see. This is not a bad place to stay but definitely not a 9/10.. I would give 6/10.. I would definitely stay in this community again but would look for a newer or more well kept unit.

Great property but furniture and linens need updating. Needs occasional “spring cleaning “. Some bulbs in bathrooms need replaced. Bathroom vents very dirty, kitchen drawers are dirty. Checkout asked for trash to be taken out but no directions to where (no where close by). Unit should be listed as upstairs.

Rugs dangerous, had to roll them up because we we were trupping on them. Pillows old and not comfortable. Size of place was nice. Code to door did not work, had to call the after hours person to let us in. 20 minute wait.

VRBO??

No complaints about the unit. Very clean and very well appointed. My disappointment is process related. This unit is rented/managed by the local property management company that handles all of the beach rentals. No interface at all with the owner, not even an email. There is a “golf reservation” fee that the property management company could not explain. The unit was not available at check in time. After a phone call to property management company the electronic lock issue was resolved. We had to drive to the property management company office during business hours to pick up the pool key (inconvenient). The pool key also had to be returned to the off site property management office. Since you are not really dealing with the owner just call Sloane Beach Rentals and save the VRBO fees?

Just OK

The property is in a nice location with a nice view of one of the greens at Sandpiper Golf Course. The balcony is very small and the furniture is very dated. There are some upgrades that need to happen like shower heads, coffee machine, thermostat.There was no TV in the third bedroom which is unacceptable if all other rooms have tvs and one does not. Beds were not overly comfortable and the sliding glass doors locking mechanisms hardly worked and the recliner chair would not stay in the closed position.Overall the place was just average at best.My biggest issue was with the property management. I know the property had no guests staying prior to our arrival on a Tues. I had asked that it would be helpful to have a slightly earlier check in at around 2:30pm or at least 3PM instead of the 4PM check in. I wasn't asking a lot especially since there were no guests there. They were unable or more like unwilling to accommodate that small request. When we did check in after 4PM, the place did not seem like it was newly cleaned. There were dishes still in the dishwasher and we didn't even have a dish towel to dry our dishes off, we had to use paper towels. I do not point blame at the owner of the property, but the property manager whoever that may be holds responsibility. Staying at VRBO properties are great when you are directly dealing with the property owner instead of 3rd party managers. The property can be very nice with some upgrades and better management. Its not there yet!

Change the shower head in both bathrooms, the shower curtain in the bedroom that leads to the patio had mold on it so I had to clean it off with my wipes. There was know detergent to wash the dishes so I had to buy some. And the pillows need to the wash or replace.

Girls weekend

Everything was really good. Location was fine not very close to beach if that's where you want to spend time you need to book closer. Went with my daughters and granddaughters. Not happy with the different change in check out time. 5 women trying to get out by 9 am is a bit much. There was only one roll of paper towels and 1 roll tissue paper per bathroom. And 1 set of towels per person. No kitchen dish cloth or towel. Went out
