With rich red cabinets and a lovely walk-in shower, this studio is ready to welcome guests. Two bikes are provided for each studio, and guests can ride them around upon request. Guests can easily cook up a meal in the kitchen or pack lunches for the day's journeys. The complimentary concierge service is available to help guests decide where they'd like to start their Belize adventure.

Suggestion Gourmet restaurant is less than a few steps away, and many other restaurants are within walking distance. This studio is a five-minute drive from the beach, enough to enjoy peaceful surroundings but close enough to travel to the beach whenever guests feel like! Guests can visit the Estuary of Caye Caulker and learn about the animals of the area just over one mile away.

"The property has nice photos that must be several years old. When we arrived there was a crack running down the middle of the front door, the towels and bed sheets were stained, the concrete awning was crumbling, paint was peeling off the walls and ceiling, and everything metal was very rusty. This property has the potential to be nice but has clearly not been maintained since its initial listing. We ended up leaving and staying elsewhere."

Inaccurate Photos

The property has nice photos that must be several years old. When we arrived there was a crack running down the middle of the front door, the towels and bed sheets were stained, the concrete awning was crumbling, paint was peeling off the walls and ceiling, and everything metal was very rusty. This property has the potential to be nice but has clearly not been maintained since its initial listing. We ended up leaving and staying elsewhere.

Island haven

For the price, this was a great place to stay especially long term. Very close to the local airport which is convenient but does mean that the village is a bit of a walk. Fortunately, a bicycle is included so travel around the island easy. Another bonus is that the place is very quiet. As for the unit itself, in general it was as advertised. Full kitchen although basic with limited cookware. Also no toaster. Plenty of hot water but be advised that water pressure for the shower is very low. No washer available on site so if you need to do laundry you will have to use one of the many laundry services which are not located close by. One needs to be aware that the plumbing for sewage on Caye Caulker is limited so no flushing of any paper products down the toilet. Given all that it was still a very good place to stay.

Nice laid back location!

This is a nice budget friendly place to stay. Room was clean. The restaurant 52 steps away is fabulous! Just remember Island time applies every where!

Efficiency style room with free bikes in quiet area

Tucked away from the busyness of downtown, the Island The Island Cabanas are no frills & quiet efficiency style rooms. The thing we loved most was access to bicycles. We used them constantly! The worst thing was the water pressure. Great value overall.
