About this property

Nature and Relaxation Chalet

Our chalet is located in a quiet area, in the middle of nature, in a wooded area. It is ideal for recharging your batteries alone or with your family.

Close to Bordeaux and the vineyards of Saint-Emilion, its geographical location will satisfy you.

You have a large wooded area of more than 1000m2 just for you without opposite.

You can enjoy a large secure and heated swimming pool from April to October. The swimming pool is shared by our house. If you have children, we agree with you on restricted time slots to guarantee their safety. In addition to the cover, a barrier separates your area from the pool for more safety. Of course, we do not use the pool when our guests are there.

The accommodation has an equipped kitchen and a bathroom. We can provide towels and sheets if necessary.

Access to the accommodation is secured by a gate. A space will be reserved for you to put your car in complete safety.

Our hilly village offers travellers a green setting where several walking circuits are possible.

In the town, there is a contact crossroads as well as several other shops (bar/tobacconist, bakery, hairdresser...). In the neighbouring town which is located 5 mins by car, there is a large Super U as well as several restaurants and other shops.

Access to public transport is located 800 m away, it takes you in 25 minutes to the heart of Bordeaux.

The beaches of the Arcachon Bay or the ocean (e.g. Lacanau) are located about 60 kilometres away.

Several lakes, such as Libourne or Espiet, are located about 20 kilometres away.

We will be at your disposal during your stay, so that we can meet your needs whether it is accommodation or the activities you can do nearby...

Lovely, quiet spot close to Bordeaux

We stayed for 3 nights to explore the area in and around Bordeaux. The cabin/chalet was exactly as described. It is in the lovely back garden of a home in a suburb of Bordeaux. We were very comfortable after a busy day of site seeing and travelling about. There isn't much around it to walk to for dining, so we bought food on our way back at the end of day to eat in.

Chalet en bois dans un parc en fond de propriété, très joliment décoré et aménagé avec goût. Très propre. Calme absolu. Rien ne manque, réveil avec le chant des oiseaux, nature +++ Grande piscine partagée très agréable et toute proche. Parking pratique. Hôtes discrets, prévenants et accessibles.

Cabane au fond du jardin

Mobilome avec un emplacement idéal, au tour de la nature derrière la propriété de la gérante. Le petit bémol, c'est qu'il faut traverser cette propriété et se garer devant. Derrière le mobilome c'est très boisé malheureusement une petite rigole d'eau : des moustiques ++++++++. Il nous a été impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres ni de profiter de la terrasse pendant notre séjour. Mais il y a une climatisation dans le salon. La piscine est très bien exposé mais derrière les baies vitrés de la gérante. Pour le ménage, des toiles d'araignée avec des araignées++++, nous ont donné du fil au retordre lors du 1er jour. La gérante est très agréable, bonne accueille, disponible...

Nous sommes navrés des points négatifs pointés. C’est une première pour nous, les hôtes sont ravies de leur séjour habituellement. Alors peut être que le temps n’a pas était de la partie et ne vous a pas permis de profiter de la pisicine et donc savoir que nous fermons nos volets quand nos hôtes se baignent. Juste un petit correctif, c’est bien un chalet et non un mobile-home. Il est situé sur notre propriété mais derrière une clôture et un pool house donc sans vis à vis. En effet, les moustiques étaient au rendez-vous, les jours de pluie suivies de forte chaleur permettent, hélas, leur prolifération mais nous n’y pouvons rien. Nous fournissons des anti-moustiques interieur et extérieur. En ce qui concerne le ménage, l’aspirateur a été passé la veille de votre arrivée et le ménage est un point très important que nous mettons énormément de temps à faire pour que tout soit parfait. Hélas en une seule nuit, bien sûr les araignées peuvent refaire des toiles et reprendre possession des lieux.

Ecrin de calme

Agréable et au calme, ce chalet, bien agencé, est parfaitement intégré dans ce cadre verdoyant avec deux biquettes de bonne compagnie. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et à l'écoute.
