Cooperstown Beautiful Modern Home

A spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath modern house with an open floor plan, big kitchen, great room and large deck. Located on 3.25 acres there is a BBQ, a hammock and plenty of room to relax. The Cooperstown Dreams Park baseball camp, the Otesaga Hotel, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the Ommegang Brewery are 5 min by car. Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta are 25 minutes away. Convenient to amenities--grocery, restaurants, Lake Otsego.

There is a separate studio unit on this property that may be occupied during your visit. It shares the parking area. Please be considerate of other guests and park in a way that allow them to come and go unencumbered.

June through September the House books on a six day rotation in strict coordination with the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament schedule.

The inside of the house was excellent. Perfect set up for five people. The kitchen was perfectly appointed with every gadget you could think of. The only drawback to the kitchen was the coffee maker. It sucked! The outside of the house on the other hand, lacked a lot! The steps getting up to the house were treacherous, especially for older people. The deck and chairs and tables were filthy! The location was perfect for the baseball fields and many great restaurants.

Perfect stay

This property was perfect for the family during our Cooperstown visit. It’s close to the ball park, downtown and plenty of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place for Cooperstown Dreamspark

The home was clean and spacious. The location is extremely convenient for attending Cooperstown Dreamspark. The kitchen is very well stocked. I would highly recommend this property for families attending the weeklong tournament.

Baseball week at Cooperstown

Wonderful place to stay for baseball. Quick trip to park and downtown Cooperstown. Brewery Ommegang just down the street as well was a great place. Would highly recommend for families going to baseball tournament. Take a hike up the hill in back of house if you need exercise. Just a great place.

My fiancé and I decided to rent a house for our upcoming wedding close by at origins Café. We knew we wanted a large enough space that could host our wedding party the morning before to get ready, have breakfast, and enjoy some peace and quiet before the madness of the day began. This house was exactly what we needed and Scott was wonderfully communicative and helpful. Not only was this one of the most well-equipped house rentals we have stayed at, but it was also tastefully decorated and comfortable. Simple, small meaningful touches, like the small bags of coffee in the kitchen and the available shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom really put our minds at ease and made the whole stay very enjoyable. Altogether I would highly recommend this stay !

Cooperstown Home

Scott was a wonderful host. His house was clean, quiet, and easily accessible from Dreams Park. He had everything we needed in the house. The master bedroom upstairs is much bigger than the other 2 bedrooms-- just something to know if you're traveling with a group.

Great location & very comfortable stay

Our family had a great stay at this property. Our son was there for Cooperstown Dreams Park and the location could not have been better. The owner and manager were great to work with and very responsive. And the house had everything that a family could need. My only issue was that the house was a bit tired, and has definitely seen some wear and tear. I have only good things to say about the home but if you are looking for brand new and sparkly, it might be hard to find in the area in general.

Easy access to downtown Cooperstown and local breweries

Although looking a bit tired from the outside, inside was clean, modern and fully stocked. Large screen TV was a plus. Definitely would stay there again, Not sure, but I thought it was the entire house, turned out there is a small downstairs apartment. No problem, the guests there were quite and friendly, I just was expecting the entire house. I may have missed it in the property description.

Perfect space but some TLC needed

This home was the perfect size for our family and in a perfect location to the Dreams ballpark and the village. The kitchen was very well stocked and was great for meals in. The living room furniture is as very comfortable. The deck is in need of some TLC - the railing is unsafe and furniture was too dirty to sit in. The floors and stairway in the house need some work as they are very noisy. Overall, a good experience with a few fixes needed.

Ann, Thank yo for your review of your stay. I would like to address some of the points brought up in your review. The deck is being renovated in the fall. That said, the railing and deck had a safety inspection in June. Also, it is the nature of outdoor furniture, in an environment surrounded by trees, that it may need to be wiped down by the guest due to ongoing pollen, storm and leaf/twigs issues. I'm sorry that you perceived the furniture to be uninviting. Finally, the house is a stick built structure and the stairs and floors tend to become squeaky over time. I will attempt to address those noise to the extent that it is possible. Thank you again for your feedback.

Great Location, Clean House, Has Everything

Simple, clean house. Can’t beat the location. Everything we needed was in the house. Property contact was super responsive and helpful. I didn’t realize it when booking but there is a basement “apartment” that is also rented out. Another Cooperstown family was there while we were. We stayed in the top 2 stories of the house. The two places are not connected in any way. The only complaint I have is the master king bed needs a new mattress. It was worn out and not very comfortable.

Cooperstown Dreams

Overall, we had a great stay! House is spacious and very well stocked with supplies needed for cooking, cleaning, laundry, grilling, etc. Beds were comfortable. And SUPER close to Dreams Park. House could use a good deep cleaning both inside and out. It is in a wooded area but exterior and outdoor furniture need deep cleaning. Deck had some small issue but property manager sent someone to repair immediately. Floors inside were pretty creaky. Scott was excellent with response times. Also, the listing says 3/3 but inside the main house, there are only two bathrooms. Like I said though, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay!

Cooperstown Dreams Park Stay

I stayed here with my boyfriend and my parents in order to be near my son while he played at Cooperstown. The house was convenient to the fields only about 7-8 minute drive to dreams park. The house was clean and well kept. My mom didn't care for the steps to get into the house but we had no issue with them. We did think one of the downstairs bedrooms had 2 queen beds, but both rooms downstairs only had 1 bed each. It worked out because there was a futon in the upstairs room which allowed us to put my son there the night the coaches wanted a break. The kitchen was nice and big and there was a grill on the deck that you could use. The owner was good at communicating and we actually didn't need to communicate really anything with him until the end. The trash hadn't come so the cans outside were full but he was understanding of us not being able to take the trash out.

Great location for family with a player at Dreams Park. Keep in mind you can really only fit two vehicles to allow space for the second unit on the first floor. The first floor only had one window ac unit for common space making the bedrooms uncomfortable the first night. Went and bought a unit for bedroom to use during our stay. TV in first floor bedroom did not work the Roku was out of date and did not function. (2019). Overall property checked the box for what we needed. But was not above and beyond. Again highlight the close location to the fields was the best part.

Lovely Cooperstown Getaway

The host thought of everything to ensure a comfortable stay. Lovely wooded setting (deck is perfect for morning coffee and birdwatching) yet minutes from all the Cooperstown attractions. Kitchen is exceptional (for those who really cook). There were only five of us but I think this house would still feel spacious if you filled all the beds. There is even a nice “hang out” and game space on the upstairs landing. Definitely recommend.

Overall the stay was so relaxing. The owner spent a great deal on having everything a guest could need. It was comfy, and homey. It was so clean , and beautiful . My husband and I went for a week at the baseball hall of fame experience and were so happy to come to the house after long days. thank you so very much Scot, for exceeding our expectations.

ALL THAT WE HOPED FOR!!

The sun-filled house is on a hill overlooking a meadow. It's bright and airy, very comfortably yet stylishly furnished. The kitchen has everything you might need, plus many you extras. It's a wonderful country home that's just close enough to lovely Cooperstown . The owners have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable! We loved everything about our stay!
