Beautiful property but need to drive
The good things: We loved the apartment. It was well equipped. The garden, pool & bar were great too. The best thing of all we’re the incredible staff. They made us feel relaxed and welcome. The standard of cleanliness is fabulous.
The not so good: The location was not as described. We thought from the description that we were staying in Porto Vecchio. This is 15 minutes drive to Porto Vecchio. The location is closer to Piccovagia. We were not given an address prior to arrival, but instead incorrect gps coordinates. We drove around in circles for an hour finally going to another resort for help. The delightful property manager was sorry for us that this had happened. She had never heard of VRBO as the owner had not shared with her that the property was advertised on this site. If she’d have known she would have given us the address - which is La Dolce Vita, plus thé street. The mattress on our bed was old with springs poking up so we didn’t sleep well. We pointed this out when leaving as we didn’t want to make a fuss while there. The manager is going to get a new mattress. The property is definitely the best in the neighbourhood with some iffy looking places right behind.
Despite the frustrating start, if you are prepared to drive everywhere we would highly recommend this property.
