Beautiful home in perfect location, communication was a bit hard

The apartment was very nice. It was spacious and stylish. The location is very central, a short walk to the centre, bus stop etc. We felt very welcome by Yusuf, who showed us the house. The communication with the house owner was a bit hard. We did not know that there would be additional cleaning cost, bedlinnen rental and a deposit that needed to be payed in cash (1000 euros). Communication about this was not really clear and easy. While the apartment is nice, ventilation is not really great. In the advertisement it is not clear that the readingroom is not a separate room, it is connected to the open kitchen and living room.

Glad you enjoyed the apartment and the welcome upon your arrival. On the other hand, we are very surprised by your comment on communication. I think I have exchanged several emails with your group in order to provide you with all the information on the various services billed on your arrival (Compulsory cleaning, Non-compulsory linen and sauna options, deposit to be paid by check or Cash / no Credit Card) All this information is indicated in our announcement on the ABRITEL website - Full description of the apartment section. . Similarly, the reading room is effectively not a separate room. It is open to the hallway as you can see in the photos…

Dear Helga We are very surprised by your remark concerning the advertisement which specifies that it is a flat of 170 m2 on the ground floor with private garden and not a house. We are sorry for this misunderstanding and hope that you had an excellent weekend in Gérardmer. Sincerely Annick
