Located in the quaint mountain town of Green Valley Lake, exactly halfway between Big Bear Lake and Lake Arrowhead. Green Valley Lake is situated at 7200 feet, which means more snow in the winter and cooler months in the summer. Stunning sunset views are waiting from the many different balconies, along with fresh air and lake fun. During summer months, the lake offers a swim beach, boat rentals, and fishing. Plus, no shortage of hiking trails around!

Welcome to your Treehouse vacation! Such a cool place to stay, four decks to check out the views, nestled in the firs and oaks. Especially love the big windows in the master bedroom- you can stargaze from your bed at night. Kitchen has absolutely everything to make a great meal. Love the little touches - books, games and an opportunity to contribute to the house throw if you crochet. It’s a quick walk down to the lake (Black Dog Social Club makes excellent coffee for your morning walk!). You might never want to leave, it’s so beautiful and QUIET! Enjoy!

Great House near Snow Valley

My family stayed at Martin's house while visiting Snow Valley. A heavy snow happened during our stay, and Martin was amazing at communication. He facilitated us extending our stay a night, and he kept us informed about the driveway plowing service. The house is beautiful and cozy, and my kids had fun exploring the nooks and crannies of the house and sledding out front.

Above the clouds in a nice retreat for two

My family and I enjoyed our visit to the Rustic Modern Perch in the Green Valley Lake area between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake. The property was very clean and met our needs quite well. We enjoyed the warmth inside and especially the recliner couch in the living room. Our only critical remark would be that the second bedroom/kids nook is an afterthought and not really a suitable bedroom. I'd recommend this mountain retreat for a couple rather than a family.

Birthday Trip

We had a great time and the cabin was perfect for us. I gifted the trip to my Fiance' for his Birthday. We wanted to get away and do a little fishing. However, Green Valley Lake is quite cute but small and they wanted $25 a person to fish and it didn't seem worth it to us. The area is beautiful, the cabin was so great. Lots of Steps, if you take a hike save energy to walk up the steps lol! We used the kitchen, it was stocked with everything you could need to cook. We read another review and made sure we brought everything food and drink wise that you would need, because stores were far. There is a small market in town. The only issue I would have with this cabin is the other bedroom is quite far from the Master Bedroom, if I were to bring my Grandchildren I would not want them that far, from us while sleeping, but they could sleep on couches or under stair nook. We would definitely stay here again it was really cozy, clean and well stocked.

Beautiful and Quiet

The neighborhood was very quiet out of the way location. The house was in great shape everything was clean and stocked. The property manager was very easy to work with since we were bringing pets. We had a wonderful week up in the mountains and thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous weather and the beautiful views from all the decks. It’s quite a trek to get to a place to eat, but it was worth it. Cute little lake which we did not spend any time in or on. But we did enjoy just sitting and looking at the pretty lake side area. Shop on your way up for food. There really isn’t anything local, especially during the week. Thanks for a great trip!

end of summer weekend

house was in a convenient location for what we wanted to do - a few minute drive down to the lake, 15 min to good coffee and 30 min to restaurants in BB or Lake arrowhead. Home was comfy and had everything we needed in the kitchen for a fun surf and turn meal we made.

Great communication between owner, house is great. GVL is a neat small town away from the crowds at Big Bear/Arrowhead.
