About this property
Stunning Waterfront Modern Cabin inNational Forest Saturday/Saturday Wkly Rental
Treat yourself and your family to a heavenly cabin in the northwoods! The cabin has been renovated from top to bottom. We are so excited to share our cabin with a very few who appreciate extraordinary .This spectacular cabin is located on the shores of Lost Land Lake in the beautiful "unspoiled wilderness" of Northern Wisconsin's Chequamegon National Forest. This property is for people who appreciate privacy far from crowds. Lost Land Lake (1,260 acres) is one of the three Northern Wisconsin's Quiet Lakes. It connects to Teal Lake (1,000 acres), another Quiet Lake. You will see bald eagles soar, many different types of ducks, and you will hear the loons sound their soothing/romantic calls. Lost Land Lake is a Class A Musky lake and is also home to Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. Nestled within a mix of mature hardwoods & pines, over-looking the lake, this home has a million-dollar view with its floor to ceiling windows in the main living area, and does not disappoint.
This newly renovated (2020) 5,500 square foot home has a modern rustic feel with new furnishings and cedar-plank walls. The open concept main living area, with new hardwood floors, connects the living room, kitchen and dining room allowing everyone to be a part of the action. A large floor-to-ceiling stone wood-burning fireplace is the focal point of the living room. The wet bar has an ice machine. The kitchen and wet bar, with new granite countertops and new or updated appliances - including a wine fridge and ice maker, are well equiped with all essentials needed to prepare great meals. There are also two extra refrigerators for all your food and beverages- Total of three refrigerators. The dining table fits 10-12 people comfortably and is positioned to give another stunning view of the lake while enjoying a nice meal. Patio doors right off of the dining area open up to a new deck-2022 where you can start another day, along with the wildlife, watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee. An all-window attached 4 seasons room is a great place to relax with a good book . It also has an old vintage barrel table and chairs offers a great spot for some board game fun.
There are two master suites on the main floor. Each suite has a King bed and a newly renovated bathroom with granite counter tops and hand-tiled showers. Wake up to the peacefulness of a new day with a beautiful view from the lake-side suite.
Downstairs, is a family room with a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace and a wall of windows that gives yet another place in this spacious home. The rec area has a a pool table and it is a great area for kids to have their own space and hang out, watch TV and play games. The bunk room has 2 twin beds and 2 full beds. For even more sleeping accommodations, there are also 2 very spacious bedrooms downstairs. One downstairs bedroom has a Queen and a twin bed. The other downstairs bedroom has a King and twin bed. Two newly renovated full bathrooms are also downstairs.
An outdoor firepit with 8 Adirondack chairs is the best place for everyone to come together at the end of the day to talk about the day's activities, to share stories, to come up with some ideas for the next day and to make S'mores. A fenced-in area works great for younger children who want to be outside and explore without worry.
The cabin is located just a few steps from the shore, you can walk out of the fenced-in area right down to the dock. From the dock, you can fish, swim, and watch the picturesque sunset as ducks and loons quietly pass by. A great way to experience Lost Land Lake is by boat. Bring your own boat or rent one from Wilson Bay Lodge, located on the lake and only a .25 mile from the cabin. With a 10 mph speed limit (no motor size limit), prohibiting jet skiing and water skiing, you can be sure of peaceful days and nights. Venture out for a day of fishing trying to catch "the big one" or take a peaceful scenic cruise around the lake, stopping at up to three bar/restuarants - Lost Land Lake Lodge (Noted for the best fish fry in the area), Reel Livin' Resort, and Red Deer Lodge.
Only 25 miles from Historic Downtown Hayward, you can enjoy the wide variety of attractions to see and things to do.
