Town: On the River Great Ouse sits the famous mediaeval port of King's Lynn, which dates to the 12th century. The town is a treasure mine for history buffs, with large merchant homes, art galleries, museums, and the Custom House, a Grade I listed edifice that was constructed in 1683 by Henry Bell. The town still has its original winding streets and lanes, and it has good shopping options, including a mix of major chains and specialty stores, as well as a number of bars and eateries. The West Norfolk shoreline is easily accessible by car, and most of the surrounding Norfolk countryside has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Particularly Hunstanton is well known for its stunning beaches and sunsets. A number of locations along the coast provide boat excursions, and the Norfolk Coast Cycleway connects King's Lynn with Cromer. A short drive away is Sandringham, the magnificent rural residence of The Queen, and it is highly recommended that you stop by the spectacular Visitor Center there.

The property was ideal for myself and a friend as a base for visiting the area. We did lots of walking, visiting historic houses, museums, towns, RSPB venues and beaches. The locals were all really friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean, comfortable and suited our needs really well. A great stay.
Excellent property in a great location. Owners were very helpful and we had a very nice week. The WiFi didn't work which wasn't ideal. But would certainly visit again.
We stayed at Sunnyside Cottage for 8 weeks between house moves. It has every cooking facility imaginable, a super modern bathroom, comfy beds & amazing views. The cottage is very spacious and has excellent WiFi. I would recommend everyone book their Norfolk holiday here. We loved every minute.
This cottage is highly recommended. It's absolutely beautiful, with underfloor heating, comfortable beds and modern kitchen with everything you need. The views are amazing. We are staying for 9 weeks and loving every minute.
