It’s an older home but it’s precious and in a good location. The owners are very sweet and take great care of their home. We would definitely stay there again.
Our cottage was adequate. The size was fine but I would have preferred that it be a little nicer. Beds were very comfortable. Location was close to downtown and the beachI loved the little notes explaining things.
This was the best place we had stayed on this vacation! The property was well described, easy to get to, very clean, attention to detail and plenty of items available to use. LOVED IT! Great location and easy to get to the bay or the ocean. Will stay here again!
I can't say enough good things about this experience, our First with VRBO. The Home itself is clean, well maintained, well appointed and has lots of labelled supplies. It is central in the city and close to the beach and the Strand and across the street from the wonderful Bryan Museum. The central air conditioning was already on and the house cool. in August. Most importantly, the host is prompt and thoughtful with their detailed communications. All was in order for this retired military senior and his wife of 49 years. We can highly recommend it. Thank you.
Wonderful location to Seawall as well as the Strand. Perfect size home for 3to 4 guests.Super comfty beds soft linens and plenty of extra blankets if needed. Through the garage out the back door an outside shower perfect for rinsing off prior to going inside and also so you don't feel sandy more than necessary.. win win.Owner very communicative kind and open to requests.Full kitchen gas stove fullsize refrigerator. Awesome water pressure. A gesture of chocolate chip cookies greeted us on the table.Access for single car garage use. We felt safe and welcomed here. Hope to rent again. Thanks for your hospitality.
We absolutely loved the place and the host was amazing. We were left a brand new box of delicious cookies to enjoy as a gift for staying and also a cute ornament to put sand and shells in! The cottage itself was very clean and cozy! Check in and out was super easy and having a garage to park your car in was a plus as well. Location was perfect, especially for cruisers. Took less than ten minutes to get to the port! It was a great experience for sure, and I 10/10 would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
We arrived, and everything was just as Diane described. Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood. Had a garage, which was really nice. Home was close to everywhere we wanted to go. We will definitely stay again when we are in Galveston.
Really enjoyed this house. Stayed one night as we were leaving on a cruise. Very clean, everything we needed was available. The cookies left was an added bonus that my daughter loved! This will be our new go to place to stay when visiting Galveston for short or long stays.
It was the perfect house for us. Centrally located to food...stores...and museums. We took an extra day and enjoyed the town before we heade out on the cruise. The property was just the right size for 4 of us.
My husband and I love Galveston. We live in the Houston area now to be close to grandchildren.
