Moon River Ridge

This 3200 sq. ft. log cabin is situated on a secluded inlet overlooking the Moon River offering ultimate privacy, minutes from Bala .

The 6-acre property directly connects with some of the best trail systems in the region. A short paddle away are the magical Bala Chutes, a great place for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing or motorized water sports.

In the winter it presentes itself to fabulous snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, taboganning/tubing or snowmobiling .

The space
Newly renovated, this spacious cabin comfortably sleeps 14. With wrap around balconies, 4 burner BBQ, outdoor dining area's, Muskoka/Adirondack chairs overlooking the waterfront and surrounding views with plenty of entertaining space.
The open concept great room with gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings and large A-frame windows provide a breath-taking vantage point of the wilderness and waterfront. The kitchen with double door stainless refrigerator, 5 burner ceramic cooktop, convection oven, microwave and cabinetry, is fully stocked with dishes and utensils. Inspired inner chefs are in for a special treat with 9ft coffered wood beam ceilings, a 13ft wrap around stone island and 8 stools to keep you engaged while creating your masterpieces.

The main floor master bedroom with queen-sized bed, walk-in closet boasts a 4-piece ensuite complete with a stand-up shower and a claw-foot soaker tub. The main floor laundry room has full sized washer/dryer, laundry sink, first-aid kit and shelves fully stocked with fresh linens/towels, cleaning supplies and toiletries.
Second Floor

The vaulted games/living area has a comfortable couch, 2 bean bag chairs & 65-inch TV, Wifi, Bell satellite, net-flix, prime and disney+ for those rainy days. The shelves are filled with board games, perfect for evening entertainment. To the left, there is a sliding barn door opening to a bunk room with 4 queen sized bunk beds. To the Right there are 2 full 3-piece bathrooms with walk-in glass showers and 2 additional bedrooms both with Queen sized beds.

Outdoor Activities

Outside cottagers are welcome to explore the property and trails and have full use of the dock, the floating dock, 2 fire pits, log seating and non motorized water toys (2 paddleboard, 2 canoes, 2 kayak's) at their leisure. And don’t forget to be safe with the 8 adult lifejackets and water safety kits when enjoying your stay!

During the winter months snowshoes, Tobogans and snow tubes are available for immediate outdoor fun!
