I’ve called Gulf County, Florida home since 2011, after living throughout Virginia and growing up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My daughter and I spend as much time as possible at the beach, soaking in the beautiful waters, peaceful surroundings, and unforgettable sunsets—something we enjoy most nights of the week.
We love to travel whenever we can, and I also spend time in Panama City, where I am a founder and principal of a group of charter schools. Hosting guests has been one of the most rewarding parts of owning this rental, and over the past five years, we’ve built many long-lasting friendships with visitors from all over.
You’ll enjoy as much privacy as you’d like, but we’re always nearby and happy to answer questions, offer recommendations, or help with anything you need during your stay. My daughter is also happy to help entertain your children or furry friends when appropriate.

Why they chose this property
We purchased the property shortly after Hurricane Michael, drawn by the opportunity to be within eyesight of the beach. At the time, it was in need of a complete renovation, which we thoughtfully and painstakingly began in 2019.
What started as a major project quickly became a labor of love for both my daughter and me. Every detail was chosen with care, with the hope of creating a comfortable, welcoming space for others to enjoy this special area as much as we do.
It is truly our hope that you enjoy your time with us and make wonderful memories during your stay.

What makes this property unique
The house is located in a small, friendly neighborhood where neighbors still talk to one another, children play in the street, and everyone truly knows each other’s name. It’s a peaceful, welcoming area that reflects the relaxed, old-Florida coastal lifestyle.
From the house, you can easily walk to the beach, as well as Dollar General, an Exxon gas station, several local food trucks, and the neighborhood bar, making it convenient to enjoy both everyday essentials and local flavor without needing to drive.
