It is a pleasure for us to welcome you to our banana tree plantation and learn a little more of the traditions, gastronomy, culture and economy of the Northern Zone of the island of Gran Canaria. Contact: granacanariaholidays4all@gmail.com 0034 686664380.

Our property is located in the very Excellency Arucas City, in the neighborhood of Trasmontaña, in a unique, sustainable and surrounded by nature. center established agricultural estates in the banana monoculture.

Finca La Esperanza is a traditionally built property in an "L" (building and room services, stables and warehouses) with large open spaces with an area of ​​25, 000 square meters and a farm close to 100 . 000 Kg. of bananas annually. Finca La Esperanza over the years has been restored adapting rooms adjacent to the house alpendre lounge areas, barbecue, gym, solarium, parking and swimming pool to offer a home accessible to all.

Finca La Esperanza has accommodation for 9 people maximum 6 adults and three children, in an incredible setting, surrounded by banana trees a short distance from the north coast of the island of Gran Canaria.

Huge house in a Lovely location. Our 7 year old loved the bananas and the swimming pool (which is a good temperature all day long). We loved it here and will be back.

Accessible!

Enjoyable holiday, in well appointed house with amazing views and good pool thats fully accessible. Accessible features were as required for a wheelchair user. Well situated for Las Palmas and its attractions.

A great place to stay!

A great location to visit the history rich northern section of Gran Canaria.A very comfortable house well suited for families. Nice. open views. The big plus that makes this place stand out is the access to the banana plantation and fresh fruits in season (bananas oranges goyaves for us in february). Excellent communication with the owner.

Beautiful place to relax with the family

This place is a little jewel, glad to have discovered it with our family and 4 months old little one. Pilar and Juan are very careful and responsive, they've prepared everything with great care and kept us informed about the ever changing Covid circumstances. It's only a pity the weather was not really up to our expectations thanks to an Atlantic storm, but we still enjoyed the heated pool as often as we could :)

Fantastic

As other reviewers have stated: the photos online belittle the wonderful qualities of the property. It’s beautiful. We found Pilar and Juan to be extremely professional and likeable, and we’d highly recommend staying at La Finca Esperanza.

Nice stay in Finca La Esperanza

The house and place was great, very clean and comfortably. The pool and the roof terrace as a big plus. The owner very helpful and responded almost immediately to our questions. A bit difficult to find the place as the owner was away on holiday and the welcoming person did not understand English. Also notice that you need a car as the place was not very central. Very relaxing holiday as we all can recommend!

Normally I used to send a google maps indications to the mobile...but yours was not working...so..yes a bit difficult to you for the first time find the house, in the middle of the night... Normally is me, who wellcome the guest, but In your case I was travelling...so, I've send you the only person who could wellcome you! and during my holidays I've speak with you several times.... The person who wellcomed you dosen´t speak english..she is learning, and she do everything possible in her hands...even drive before you to leave you at the door of the commercial center...to be honest, nobody has ever do this for me when I've travelled....I'm sure next time she will try to speak a bit with you!!! Get away from it all

If you want to avoid the crowds and busyness of the south of the island, you want your own space and you want a house where everything has been thought about then this is for you. We really appreciated our late night meet at the airport, the oranges and bananas from the plantation and all of the little things that made this a perfect break for our family of 6. We had plenty of space in the house and everyone enjoyed the holiday so much. We would recommend to family and friends and hope to be back.

Great Finca close to lots to do

Pilar and her husband are kind and considerate hosts. Pilar gave me a wealth of information and tips before we came. The Finca is well positioned to explore the amazing mountainous north and interior, whilst easy roads connect South and close to Las Palmas. The house is beautiful with a hot shower and access to your very own banana plantation which felt very special. There is a rooftop to sit on and outside dining area. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Our children loved the pool which is heated, so even on cloudy days was well used! We would not hesitate to recommend, we had a great holiday.

Perfect staying for those who love nature and silence but with city facilities

We spent in Finca La Esperanza holidays together with family. These 10 days was great opportunity to sightseeing several places in Gran Canaria. After the trip you can choose: take a rest in the pool or just a look to ocean from house roof, or make a barbecue, look some movie or prepare perfect seafood. Finca La Esperanza offers ideal equipment and facilities for everyone. Each of group can find some secret place if they want to be liitle beat alone -what is necessary for 10 days traveling together 8 people with 3 children :) So thank you Pilar for your job and kindness, about fresh bananas and eggs. We are recomending others travellers Finca La Esperanza.

Amazing find

We have just returned from Gran Canaria where we stayed here with six adults, a small child and two babies. It was fantastic. Pilar and her family were so welcoming and answered lots of questions for me before I booked for the family. The plantation is incredible. My daughter loved it. She also loved collecting eggs from the chickens and playing with the rabbit. There is so much space here that everyone could find a bit of their own space but lots of communal space too. My whole family adored it and I got serious brownie points for booking! We had an amazing week with trips out to Tejeda, Las Palmas, the caves in Guayadeque and the sand dunes. Thank you Pilar for ensuring our holiday was so memorable.

Traditional charm in perfect tranquility

Pilar and her husband have created a wonderfully traditional villa with all modern conveniences. Uncluttered, clean, spacious and welcoming. We loved having cocktails on the terrace while the sunset, splashing around in the pool to cool off, collecting eggs, avocados and bananas for lunch and cooking an awesome BBQ. Pilar and her husband were very helpful even booking us taxis on their wedding anniversary! We had a 4 month old baby an everything was organized so it was very easy - heated pool, baby cot and sheets, microwave.... The villa is close to the pretty town of arucas with a beautiful cathedral and rum distillery. We were also a short drive from the beach and the world heritage listed town near las palmas. Great holiday for family as there was plenty of space and things to do. We would love to go back!

Villa très jolie au cœur d une plantation de bananes. dommage qu' il n y a rien pour se garer. petite ruelle, on ne se croise pas à 2 voitures. Manque une clim , nous laissons les fenêtres ouvertes car trop chaud malgré le bruit des voitures sur l autoroute.

Encantada de haberlas recibido! Por sus 5 estrellas entiendo que su estancia ha sido maravillosa y que han disfrutado sus vacaciones. Durante su semana de estancia han aparcado en la calle sin problema (todos nuestros clientes lo hacen) por lo que no entendemos por qué dicen que no se podía aparcar...la vía es muy tranquila de doble dirección, y hay espacio de sobra. Han estado en Agosto en plena ola de calor, y aunque sabían que no había aire acondicionado(está claro en el anuncio) les dejamos ventiladores. De todas formas, tomamos nota de su observación, y estudiaremos la instalación para el año próximo de la climatización. Han sido unas clientas TOP, lo dejaron todo maravillosamente ordenado y limpio. Agradecemos tanto su cuidado como sus observaciones! Un abrazo desde Gran Canaria.

Ons verblijf in de finca was fantastisch. We werden supergastvrij onthaald en kregen een uitgebreide rondleiding van Pilar door de prachtige bananenplantage. Ze stuurde vantevoren veel goede tips en uitleg en was ook makkelijk bereikbaar tijdens ons verblijf voor meer informatie.Het huisje is perfect om te relaxen, heeft een heerlijk proper verwarmd zwembad, keuken is voorzien van alles ( voorraad kruiden, koffie, e.d, keukengerei ook om te mixen en te bakken).We pingpongden ook erg veel! Zo fijn om omringd te zijn door de bananenplanten en dit terug te vinden in elke ruimte.Het weer is niet altijd te best in het Noorden maar deze finca laat je dat vergeten! Met een huurauto maak je de mooiste trips langs de zee maar ook door de groene bergen in het binnenland.Er is ook een supermarkt vlakbij op auto afstand.Wij komen graag terug

Super schöne Villa mit beheiztem Pool.Gastgeber Juan ist sehr freundlich und hilft sofort, wenn irgend ein Problem ist.Man kann jederzeit Orangen, Mandarinen, Pampelmusen und Bananen in der Plantage ernten, inmitten derer das Haus liegt.Alles ist sehr sauber!Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!!!

Geräumige Wohnung mit zusätzlicher großer Lounge/Wohnzimmer im Nebengebäude sowie schöner Freisitz mit Grillmöglichkeit, Dachterrasse mit Meerblick und sogar Gymnastikraum mit Tischtennisplatte. Ein keines Manko ist, dass nur eine Dusche vorhanden ist (eine zweite Toilette gibt es am Grillplatz), bei Belegung mit mehr als vier Personen muss man sich gut absprechen. Pilar und Juan sind sehr nette und bemühte Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation auf Englisch war sehr einfach und angenehm. Die Bananenplantage liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig mit kurzen Wegen zur Schnellstraße nach Las Palmas und Galdar sowie Arucas. Nachteil der guten Straßenanbindung ist ein wenig Verkehrslärm, der bei geöffnetem Schlafzimmerfenster und auf der Dachterrasse zu hören ist, es ist aber erträglich. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, erfreulicherweise auch mit viel "Verbrauchsmaterial" wie Backpapier, Alufolie, Gewürzen und vielem mehr, sodass man praktisch nichts kaufen musste. Gleiches gilt für das Bad, das mit Shampoo, Sonnencreme und vielem mehr ausgestattet war. Der Pool ist zwar zum Schwimmen zu klein, bietet aber gute Erfrischung und ist auch für wolkige Tage angenehm temperiert. Man hat perfekte Privatsphäre, da keine Einblicke von außen auf den Innenhof möglich sind. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft, die sich ideal für Ausflüge auf den Inselnorden und in die Berge eignet.

Traum Urlaub

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.Der Empfang von den Gastgebern war sehr herzlich. In der liebevollen eingerichteten Finca war alles vorhanden und sauber.Der pool war wunderschön. Er wurde regelmäßig gereinigt,ohne das wir uns gestört fühlten. Die angrenzende Bananenplantage war einzigartig.

Sejour de 15 jours en famille

Très sympathique maison, bien équipée et au coeur d'une bananeraie. Le plus, une petite piscine CHAUFFEE!!!, le moins une autoroute que l'on distingue au loin et que l'on entend un peu. Les propriétaires sont charmants et reactifs au moindre problème prproblème
