Beautiful and tranquil stay

Perfect place to have access to trails. Transport is essential and suggest a small car as the roads are very narrow and lots of bends. We loved the villa and it’s very well equipped with a great wee pool for your aching legs after trail walking.

Fantastic House

We absolutely loved this house. The pool and garden are amazing and the outdoor space overall is just lovely. It´s in a quiet and beautiful area. The pool is deep and cold and we loved it. The house is very well equipped, we weren´t short of anything. The burner in the kitchen/living room makes the room very cosy when it´s a chilly evening. Would definitely recommend this house and would love to visit again in the future.

A very special place

The villa was perfect for me and my sister as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom; separate but easy. It's very private and not overlooked which is also important. Beds are supremely comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped with high end dishwasher/washing machine et al. Important to come equipped with food as a lot of restaurants were closed when we arrived, even in the early evening. A car is essential.

Just wanted to say what a lovely time we had at your property. It was so well equipped with everything that we needed! The bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in and the shower and bath were lovely. Outside we had a great time in the bar area. The setting and views were lovely. The only thing that we would have hoped for was a warm pool, it was looked great but i only made it in once for a couple of seconds as it was so cold. Thanks again for having us!

Lovely peaceful secluded villa.

Really enjoyed our weeks stay. The villa has a rustic feel, but also very modern facilities. The pool is large enough to actually swim, though it was cold when first entering. We spent probably all the time on the sunlounges around the pool or sat in the covered outdoor area. Though we didn't use them, there are a number of heaters in the various areas as I guess being in the mountains it could get cold outside of the summer months. If you have good footwear, you can walk into Santa Brigida in around 20-25 minutes, but the climb to / from, the town is on a steep rocky path so not ideal for carrying shopping so a car is probably essential and not too large a car as the drive is a bit narrow and there is not a great deal of turning space inside the villa grounds. The directions provided were easy to follow and the drive was probably only around 25 minutes from the airport. I'm guessing their must be a micro-climate on Gran Canaria as the skies around the villa always had clouds, but when we ventured to Puerto Rico / Mogan (less than 1 hours drive) in the south of the Island it was cloudless.

Nice things to know

I usually don’t write reviews but this time I’ll make an exception. There’s a lot of good things to say about this little house (see the other reviews) but there’s also some things that’s useful to know for future guests: The text mentions and the pictures (19-24) show the so called pool house with a double bed. If you book the house for 2 people, you will not get access to this separate building. It comes with an extra cost. Nice to know, if you are not a couple or for other reasons want to sleep separately. Even with the entire hood of the car ON the road, you can’t see anything from inside the car when you exit the property. It’s mandatory to have a person on the road helping you to exit down the steep road. Not for the faint hearted! The pool was (as other reviewers mention) very cold. We visited in the end of January and hoped for a little dip … but no. It was dirty and it looked like a chlorine lock was happening in the water: milky/hazy water. The pellet oven needs some attention and planning during your stay and still it will not heat the house evenly through the rooms. It is hard to reach the exact temperature you wish for as the thermostat is somehow living it’s own life.

Absolut fantastisch. So kann man es beschreiben. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, ein tolles Haus mit schöner Ausstattung, nicht 08/15 sondern alles liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet.Komplette Kücheneinrichtung mit allem, was man braucht, um die frischen Sachen vom Markt zuzubereiten. Ein Grill, Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, einfach alles da.Die Lage in den Bergen sorgt für angenehmes Klima, manchmal auch ein paar Regentropfen, aber es sind nur 20 Minuten bis Las Palmas und den tollen Stränden dort. Richtig toll ist auch, dass man das nächste Örtchen zu Fuß erreichen kann.Absolut zu empfehlen!

Wir haben uns im hervorragend ausgestatteten Haus schon sehr schnell wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Lage ist als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und Wanderungen ideal. Der Pool lädt zum schwimmen ein, solange das Wetter mitspielt. Aber auch so kann man sich im Ausbereich gut aufhalten u d entspannen.

Wir hatten zwei tolle und erholsame Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus!Der Pool ist sehr groß, sodass man richtig dort schwimmen kann. Leider gibt es hier in den Bergen sehr viele Ameisen, die sowohl im Pool als auch im Haus unterwegs sind. Der Pool musste deswegen gerade bei Wind häufig von uns gesäubert werden. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist hervorragend. Hier gibt es sogar eine Dartscheibe, mit der man sich auch bei schlechterem Wetter (bei Regen) die Zeit vertreiben kann.

Schöne Lage

Die Lage des Hauses hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Man kann von dort aus Ausflüge in alle Richtungen unternehmen, ist abseits vom Massentourismus und trotzdem in kurzer Entfernung zum Meer.Das Haus selbst ist gut und praktisch ausgestattet,alle deutschen Fernsehprogramme sind gut zu empfangen.Schade war, dass wir den schönen Pool nicht benutzen konnten, weil er nicht beheizt ist und die Witterung zu kalt war für diese Jahreszeit.Bei wärmeren Temperaturen ist es auch sicher im Poolhaus angenehmer. Es war trotz der elektrischen Heizungen dort nachts recht frisch.Alles in allem hat es uns dort gut gefallen und wir haben einen schönen Urlaub verbracht.

Wunderschön, Top ausgestattet, urgemütlich.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit über Weihnachten und Silvester. Das Haus und Grundstück sind sehr schön und großzügig. Alles war reichlich vorhanden (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Grillkohle, Pellets für die Holzheizung, u.v.m.). Ein paar Kleinigkeiten müssten mal repariert werden und die "Lebensgeräusche (lautes Knacken)" die das Holz des Hauses Nachts von sich gibt sind ein klein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig. Direkt am Haus führt eine tagsüber regelmäßig befahrene Strasse vorbei, die man aber im Schlafzimmer auch bei offenem Fenster kaum hört und nachts war es immer sehr ruhig.Wir hatten super Wetter und konnten nach dem Wandern nachmittags noch bei 25 in der Sonne am Pool liegen und haben Abends wenns dunkel wird, drinnen gemütlich den Pellet Ofen angeworfen.Alles in Allem auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert.

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage

Wir hatten im November einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Vor allem das abendliche Dart-Spielen auf der schönen Terrasse hat Spaß gemacht. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, inkl. Netflix-Zugang. Der Kontakt war sehr gut und schnell und verlässlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fantastisch verblijf

Wij hebben heerlijk genoten van de fijne case met mooie tuin en het fantastische zwembad. Let op wel de afstapjes bij de binnen en buitendeuren. De casa is voorzien van uitgebreide voorzieningen en benodigdheden. Het terras met buitenverlichting is voorzien van een eettafel met kuipstoelen, grootte parasol, ligbedden en gemakkelijke zitstoelen. Een leuke overdekte bar met verlichting en barkrukken. Wij zijn tijdens ons verblijf van 12 dagen veel op deze schitterende locatie gebleven. Kortom een echte aanrader.
