Walk to the beach! Pet friendly cottage/beach on Fort Morgan Peninsula.

Located on a quiet street on a private wooded lot just a block off the beach!! Easy walk to the beach with neighborhood beach access! Beach is pet friendly (dogs must be kept on a leash). This comfortable cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa for accommodating extra guests. The kitchen has granite countertops, all major appliances, and is stocked with basic utensils/kitchenware needed to prepare a meal. There is an office nook with a desk. Spacious, wrap-around, outdoor deck for sunbathing and relaxing. There is a convenient, outside shower for use after the beach.
Enjoy the beach and coastal area with a more relaxed pace at this property on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. Yet, still so much close by! Fort Morgan State Historic Site approximately 7 miles away. Fort Morgan Public Boat Launch is 4 miles away. Several local restaurants and golf course within 3 miles. Still an easy drive to other popular destinations in this area including Tanger Outlets, The Wharf in Orange Beach, The Park at OWA, The Track, Gulf State Park, Waterville, USA, etc!

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 3 vehicles on site.

* Amenities include free WiFi, 1 smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower, and outdoor deck.

* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.

* Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, one roll paper towels/toilet paper, and travel-sized shampoo, and soap per bathroom.

Good location, not jammed in between houses. Would like to give 5 stars but the outdoor lighting was poor, especially the front under the deck. Also the house had a disagreeable odor that stayed after we opened all the doors snd windows. There were 5 air fresheners throughout the house. So they know. Good floor plan and pet friendly for 150 pet fee.

Great spot really close to the beach

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house was super clean, well apportioned and located really close to the beach with 2 public access points. We were able to bring our dogs since they allow pets. We had everything we needed for a great stay. I will DEFINITELY rent this place again!

Great location! Easy check in process. It was a little to far to walk to the beach with a 4 year old and my husband with a back injury but we rented a golf cart that was delivered to us within an hour. That made it perfect.

Loved the location! Short walk to the beach. My kids (10 & 5) brought their scooters and parked them in the golf cart parking at the public access parking when we went to the beach daily. They left them there the entire day and no one bothered them. LOVED the location. Plenty of privacy at the house and a cute, safe neighborhood to walk around! Shonna was AMAZING and very responsive the whole trip. The house was clean but HOLY MOTH BALLS- the moth ball smell is overwhelming, especially the first day. I opened the doors trying to air out the house because as my daughter said- “it stanked”.Overall, we had a great experience and hope to return!

Great location to the beach!

We enjoyed this house as it was a great neighborhood and one block from a fabulous dog friendly beach. The neighborhood is quiet and very private. Restaurants were near and easy to get to.Highly recommend for a beach getaway!

Great little getaway

Very good stay for 4 people. We were even able to bring our 2 dogs- the beach and property are great for dogs. The listing says it sleeps 6, which is possible, but might be kinda crowded!! The outside shower was amazing!!

We stayed for 4 weeks this year and last. Great location, a 2 minute walk to the beach. Close to some fun restaurants too. We would recommend to anyone thinking of staying in Ft. Morgan!! Also, Shonna is always so nice to work with. She is so friendly, helpful, and responsive.
