About this property

The Hemlock Treehouse

Summary:

Go green in the Smokies! This "Treehouse Masters" 2-bed, 1-bath eco-escape is a nature-first sanctuary. Nestled by a babbling creek just 5 minutes from the National Park entrance, it’s the ultimate sustainable getaway. Breathe mountain air from your private deck or relax in rustic, natural-wood interiors. With a rainfall shower and year-round air-conditioning/heat, you’ll enjoy modern comfort that honors the environment. Sway and grow with the trees. Rejuvenate where the forest meets luxury.

The Space:

Designed with a rustic cabin feel, this dog-friendly, 350 sq. ft. treehouse offers a home-like layout that sleeps four comfortably. The main floor features a queen bed, a living space brightened by plenty of windows, and a full bathroom with a rainfall shower. For additional sleeping, you can access a cozy queen bed in the loft via a sturdy wooden ladder, though we recommend the main-floor queen for those with mobility concerns. To ensure your comfort in any season, both the loft and main floor are equipped with heating and air-conditioning, and we provide extra linens, towels, and pillows for your stay. For entertainment, there's a 43" TCL TV with streaming capabilities.

The quaint kitchenette is stocked with all the essentials, including a GE mini-fridge, classic microwave, stylish toaster oven, and a Mr. Coffee pot coffee machine. You will find everything you need for dining and prep, from dishware and cutlery to cooking utensils, a cutting board, a can opener, and a wine bottle opener.

Outside, you can enjoy a small, covered porch with bug-resistant screen walls or an open-air porch just a few steps down. Both spaces are private and filled with outdoor seating options. From your deck, you can step directly to the banks of Norton Creek, a premier spot for fly fishing.

Reconnect and relax in the forest while enjoying the seclusion of your private treehouse alongside the perks of an exclusive resort. Guests have access to shared charcoal firepits (with charcoal and lighter fluid provided), swings, picnic tables, and grills.

Access is easy with paved roads leading all the way to the parking lot, located only steps from your door. You are perfectly situated just five minutes from The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and less than five miles from the Parkway.

Retirement get away

Because of the weather we were unable to check in. An unfortunate situation with conditions were a challenge for the complete stay. The staffs eagerness to make things easier made a bad situation manageable. I'm appreciative.

Romantic and Rapturous

My wife shared an instagram about Treehouse Grove. I surprised her for our 12th anniversary and scored big points. We had wonderful experience that has rejuvenated our marriage.
