Common Concerns: *Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather. *TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem. *Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies, and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin, and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away, and unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors. *There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.
FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $20 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $350 worth of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $20 damage waiver fee by putting down a $350 REFUNDABLE damage deposit.
✨ Peace of Mind & Travel Insurance: I want your stay to be stress-free and enjoyable. Please note that this home has a strict cancellation policy. Because life can be unpredictable, we encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance for extra peace of mind. This way, you can book with confidence knowing you’re protected no matter what comes up. This can be done at www.insuremytrip.com where you can pick the coverage that suits your situation.

This is our 3rd year there, and we continue to enjoy it. Recommend that the grill be cleaned more regularly, but everything else was great.

It was a perfect little cabin for my Dad and me. We were able to access the park easily for fishing and the surrounding area of the cabin was just beautiful.

Thank you so much for your kind review! We're so happy to hear that the cabin was perfect for you and your dad, and that you enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and easy access to the park for fishing. It sounds like you had a wonderful time, and we'd love to welcome you both back for another peaceful getaway anytime!
We made a last minute decision to travel for the weekend and this cabin was perfect! Would definitely stay again. Very close to the entrance to the park.
The cabin was very cozy! Loved all the quilts and throws. The fireplace, the porch bed swings. I fell down the stairs the first day! But I’m ok. The dog was too little to maneuver the steps going down she fell too. But we got the hang of it and truly enjoyed our stay

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so glad you found the cabin cozy and enjoyed the quilts, throws, fireplace, and those fun porch bed swings.
I’m so sorry to hear that you took a tumble on the stairs going down to the river that first day — and that your pup did too! I’m relieved you’re both okay and were still able to settle in and enjoy your stay.
We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to welcome you back for another visit (with no more stair mishaps!).
A beautiful setting. Convenient to area attractions. A few items need some attention. Communication with the host was positive.

Thank you for your feedback, Billy! We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We'll do our best to address the items that need attention.
We enjoyed our stay so much! Keith & Cathy were always available when we called. It's such a cozy cabin. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking breakfast etc. Watching the horses, drinking our morning cup of coffee, while swinging on back porch swing was my favorite part of each day. My husband and son loved the front screened in porch. The weather was perfect. It was simply amazing. We definitely want to come again. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear you had such a wonderful stay and that you enjoyed the little moments—like morning coffee on the porch swing and watching the horses. We love knowing the cabin felt cozy and well-equipped for your family, and we’ll be sure to share your kind words with Keith & Cathy. We’d be delighted to welcome you back anytime for another amazing getaway!
We stayed here to enjoy the bigfoot festival and it was perfect and exactly what we needed. Only thing negative is the beds were very firm. Other than that it was great!
We loved the area as it was quiet and scenic. There was a horse pasture behind the house which was great. The porch and bed swings were relaxing and comfortable. We tried grilling one night but rodents had apparently been nesting in the grill so there were some unexpected flames. Overall we loved it and would stay again.

Thank you for your feedback! We're so glad you enjoyed the quiet, scenic area and the horse pasture behind the cabin—it’s such a peaceful setting. The porch and bed swings are definitely great spots to relax, so it’s wonderful to hear you found them comfortable.
We do apologize for the issue with the grill and the unexpected flames—it sounds like something had gotten into the grill, and we’ll be sure to check and clean it thoroughly for future guests. We really appreciate you bringing it to our attention, and we're so happy to hear that despite that, you loved your stay and would come back again. We look forward to hosting you on your next visit!
We stayed at River Dreaming for a weekend and it was magical! Photos in the listing don’t do justice to the beautiful setting. The cabin had everything that we needed, and management was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We loved the screened in porch beds and our walks down to the river front! It is just beyond a gorgeous campground, far enough away from any noise, but close to anything we might have needed, and so close to the park entrance! We hope to return soon!
We did not spend much time during the day Its quiet. We were there during Christmas and it was COLD! But we had a fire each evening that helped warm the cabin, they had plenty of firewood 😄 We had one issue that required us calling to have it addressed (on Christmas Eve), it was all fixed when we returned to cabin. Its a quaint, lovely cabin in a great spot!

Wonderful location & great for pets
My husband and I brought our Golden retriever with us to this cabin and we loved it. The location was great. Next to a campground that was very dog friendly. Big open pasture to walk him in. A huge front porch we could leave him on. The kitchen only has a few pots and pans and there is no storage containers for leftovers so be mindful of cooking and storage for meal prep. Upstairs can get warm, but there is an oscillating fan for one of the rooms. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this cabin and I plan to come back here again.

Had a great stay right outside the entrance to the park. Kids really enjoyed playing in the creek too!
There is an electric fence on the adjacent property immediately behind the cabin. It is for the horses, so just keep an eye on any little ones playing back there.
