Beautiful house, large private yard, only two minutes walk from private beach

Rental License # 0576. Walk one block to a beautiful, private beach on North Fork Peconic Bay. Easily escape the city to one of the most beautiful areas on Long Island. Comfortable house with three bedrooms all with king beds, 1.5 baths, a sunroom, dining room, outdoor deck, outdoor shower, lovely kitchen, air-conditioned and insulated for year-round comfort. Large backyard perfect for games and for children (and adults). House is close to town, farm stands with beautiful local produce, and 40+ wineries.

The house is situated on a large lot. The back of the lot is bordered by a privately owned forest. The yard is very quiet and private. The yard is perfect for outdoor play (croquet anyone?); there is also an outdoor deck and a sunroom for wonderful summer evening dinners.

House is a two minute walk from the beautiful Peconic Bay with a large sandy beach for use by Association members (dues-paying residents of the road) and their guests only. This is one of the finest bay beaches in the North Fork. It's wonderful for small children. At low tide it's very shallow, the water is very warm, and there are no waves to speak of. The swimming area is roped off for safety. If you want to visit Long Island Sound beaches (beautiful sunsets), they are two miles away. Included is lots of beach furniture and towels. Also within walking distance is a nature conservancy pond with an Osprey nest.

There's a par three golf course nearby, and several 18 hole courses within 10 miles. The cycling is great; owner can recommend some quiet routes. If you have a kayak, paddle board or Sunfish, all the better; you can walk them right down to the bay.

If you have a watercraft, it is very close to the Marina, or you can anchor right off the beach. There is a driveway where you could park a boat if you desired. Outdoor screened- in porch is a great place for your morning coffee and evening glass of wine. There is also a newly built outdoor shower. Please message us for a link to a walk through video.

The beach at the end of the street is private to the residents of our street only. The house has all the beach basics: towels, umbrella, chairs, wagon and cooler.

Wonderful beach home

A lovely, comfortable home within a 3 min walk from the beach. Five minute drive from great shops and food. House FULLY equipped. Comfortable beds etc. Wonderful peaceful and restful spot for friends and family.

Great Stay at Laurel House

We (2 couples) had a wonderful time at Laurel House. The house itself is amazing, spacious, well-kept and clean, and there is just everything you might need if you want to do your own cooking, have a barbecue or enjoy the garden. The beach in walking distance is relaxing and clean, and there are good shopping facilities not very far away. It is a good starting point for exploring Long Island. Thanks to Jeff and Sean for letting us stay there!! Both were a great help and communication was easy.

Weekend visit

My family and I enjoyed our stay on the property. I was with my husband, brother and sister in law. The home was comfortable and clean. Being a family home, my brother and I felt the same comfort we would feel when at our grandparents house. The property was just a short walk from the beach and it was exquisite. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt extremely comfortable. The out door shower was fantastic! We would definitely stay on property again. Thank you!

Great House and Host on the North Fork

This house was a terrific place to stay while enjoying the North Fork - whether on the back deck, at the private beach, or the many natural places the area has to offer. The host was very friendly and responsive. They always made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. They went the extra mile to make our time here special and memorable.
