"les Choses de la Vie", Deux Gîtes de Charme Avec Piscine en Dordogne

Are you dreaming of calm, nature and rest? We are waiting for you in Lentignac, a charming little hamlet attached to the commune of Sainte-Alvère, located at the crossroads of the black, white and purple Périgord.

In the middle of meadows and woods, in the heart of the truffle area, our two cottages, the tobacco dryer and the sheepfold, have all the necessary comfort to make you spend an exceptional holiday. The swimming pool, the large garden, the hinds and the deer will bring you comfort, relaxation and contemplation.

In high season (July and August), the rental includes the two gîtes, the garden and the swimming pool (weekly stay only during this period and mandatory from Saturday to Saturday).
In low and mid season, it is possible to rent only the sheepfold or the tobacco drying shed, the other cottage will then be unavailable to ensure your tranquility. You will also have access to the garden and, from May 15 to October 15, to the swimming pool.

Within a radius of less than ten kilometres, in pretty little villages, you will find all the basic shops as well as richly stocked markets that will allow you to discover the specialities of the region.

As for activities and leisure, you will be spoilt for choice: canoeing on the Dordogne or the Vézère, prehistoric sites, caves, chasms, listed villages, medieval castles, leisure parks, hiking trails, cycling, hot air balloons...
Unless you prefer to laze in a deckchair by the pool with a good novel before the inevitable aperitif around a good brazier!


DESCRIPTION OF EACH GÎTE:

Building: The tobacco dryer
 
Living area: approximately 80 m².
Number of main pieces: 3.
Main equipment elements of the tobacco dryer housing:
➥ 1 living-dining room of about 40m2, 1 LCD satellite TV, 1 sofa, a farmhouse table and its 2 benches, coffee table and small furniture.
➥ 1 equipped kitchen: 5 gas hobs, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, coffee machine and various appliances.
➥ 1 separate toilet on the ground floor.
➥ 2 bedrooms with a view with bathroom and private toilet, wardrobes, quality bedding in 160 and small furniture (bedrooms upstairs).
➥ 1 "den" under the roof for 2 children, 2 mattresses in 90 (low ceiling/miller's ladder access). Accessible only in mid season when the temperatures are neither too cold nor too hot.

Building: The sheepfold
 
Living area: approximately 50 m².
Number of main pieces: 2.
Equipment elements of the sheepfold housing:
➥ 1 bedroom with 160 cm double bed, a table and 4 chairs, LCD satellite TV, small fridge, coffee machine and kettle.
➥ 1 bedroom under the roof of about double bed 160 (quality bedding),
➥ 1 bathroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor.
 
Linen and cleaning products provided.

The tenant undertakes to respect and not exceed the capacity of each gîte. The tobacco dryer is designed for 4 people (plus two children in the den in mid season) and the sheepfold for four people.

Two travel cots and two high chairs are available on request.

ALL COTTAGES ARE NON-SMOKING.
ONLY ONE PET IS ALLOWED

MINIMUM: 2 NIGHTS IN MID AND HIGH SEASON.
MINIMUM: 7 NIGHTS IN HIGH SEASON.
