Peaceful and very tranquil. Loved the property and the time to be outside on the deck reading and enjoying nature! Great place to get visit and slow down for a while!
Great tiny home very clean with everything you need!
make sure you take the time to hike to the bottom of the Falls! no need to drive you can walk from the house!
My daughter & I stayed here for the weekend she was participating in a horse show. It was a great place to come back to after a long day at the barn. The shower is so nice & roomy!
Very nice property. The Stargazer was nice and cozy. There's a TV in both the living room and bedroom. The inclosed patio was great to have for someone who likes to get up early with some hot cocoa, sit out and listen to nature. The shower is very roomy too. I'm coming back!!

Well located, well maintained
Easy access in and out of the Deer Lick tiny home community. Well maintained with all necessities. Sleeps six, but you would be extremely crowded if you could not go outside, even with small children. However, the bunk bed adjacent to the main bedroom makes a great place to manage your luggage and clothing.
It was a wonderful getaway. We love the privacy of this location. We enjoyed the porch and the fire pit. We could not drive to the lower driveway to turn around because of the condition of the gravel so we had to back down to the cabin each time. Other than that everything was perfect. We enjoyed several days, hiking and touring and eating in the town. Highpoint was the best food and service and we would recommend it to everyone. Thank you for a little piece of heaven and God bless your business.

Mini home smells
Our rental mini home, on the ,edge at deer lick falls, Mounteagle TN. Had a musty smell inside . we tried open all the windows and doors for a long time and could never get rid on the smell, we had to clean the bathroom when we arrive because it was filthy.
Great small cabin, I would stay at the property again. Quite setting, good location. A few maintenance items should be addressed in cabin such as we had a loose faucet, light out, shower drains slow, but other then that it was a great place. I'd glady stay at this property again
The tiny home we rented at Deer Lick Falls was so cute, well appointed, and just the right spot for our family of four to relax after a busy holiday. Despite rain almost the whole trip, we were able to enjoy two nights by the fire pit and even a short hike to the Falls. We love the tiny home concept and hope to bring back several families with us for another stay at a Retreat Vacations property! Just be aware that Monteagle is pretty closed down after Christmas so bring plenty of your own food, a good book, and games to play!
Such a beautiful place and soooo quite! This place had everything we needed and although we felt like we were very remote we were 10 minutes from a store. We tried to extend our stay but was booked. We just loved everything about it. The kids loved our hikes during the day and our s’mores at the fire pit every night
I went with my best friend for a girls trip. We were so pleased with the Stargazer. It was so comfortable and decorated nicely. The property is so peaceful and beautiful. The hiking trails were great! Can't wait to plan another visit there.
We have traveled all over the world and have never come back from a vacation so relaxed and peaceful. The tiny house is beautiful, cleaned and well equipped. Loved the gas stove and kitchen. It has two outside porches and a wonderful enclosed porch with a dining table for 6. This is a gated community of tiny homes and we hardly ever saw another person while we were there even though all tiny homes were fully booked. Wonderful walking trails. We took a trail to a magnificent water pool falling into a very cool and refreshing swimming hole. We spent a day on the trail and never saw another person. I cannot recommend the Stargazer more highly. We will be returning again many times. such a relaxing respite from the pandemic and these trying times. Be sure to visit The University of the South. Beautiful campus and incredible architecture. The High Point Restaurant (5 Stars) WAS INCREDIBLE. We ate outside in their garden listening to the sounds of birds and croaking frogs. The cuisine was impeccable. Perfect filet, seafood soup and great desserts.
Retreat Vacations was developed in 2019 to manage the luxury tiny homes in the Retreat at Deer Lick Falls. We are devoted to providing an unforgettable experience for our guests with a touch of distinctly, local hospitality.
