Sun, sand, and relaxation on Otter Tail Lake

This large lake home can sleep 12 comfortably. It is the perfect getaway for a large family or a group to enjoy one of Minnesota's finest lakes. The home features a spacious living room with see through stone fireplace to the outdoor patio. It has several large windows for great views of Otter Tail Lake. The main floor includes two bedrooms, a master suite with access to the main bathroom with walk in shower and double sinks, and a second bedroom with a great lake view. The main floor also includes a 1/2 bath with laundry. The upstairs has a large entertainment area included a second living room and game room, it also has a second kitchen / bar area and outdoor balcony for enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms that share a large bathroom with a shower / jacuzzi tub and double sinks.
The outdoor space features two patios for entertaining, one off the main floor and one down by the lake. The beautiful sand beach and shallow water is ideal for children of all ages. The beach is great for building sandcastles, enjoying water toys, or just simply falling asleep on the resort style lounge chairs. Otter Tail Lake is great for all water activities. The water is clean and clear for swimming, water skiing, wake boarding, tubing etc. Otter Tail is also a great fishing Lake with many options for guided fishing tours or just dropping a line on your own. We have an optional boat lift for those who choose to bring a boat, or we can also help with boat or pontoon rentals for an afternoon, day, or your entire stay.
The area is great for vacationing with several shops, restaurants, and two State parks within close driving distance. Glendalough and Maplewood States park offer several ways to enjoy the outdoors including walking and biking trails, kayaking, swimming, fishing and more. There are two golf courses within walking distance. An area favorite is Balmoral right across the street. It is an 18 hole par 72 that features beautifully maintained tree lined fairways that will challenge golfers of any ability. For those just interested is a quick 9 Balmoral North is a 9 hole par 27 executive course that allows for a quick leisurely round. Whatever you are interested in I'm sure you can find plenty to do in the Otter Tail Lakes area.

Family fishing trip

Perfect Lake Vacation!

We had an amazing time. Even though the weather was cold and windy, the house had plenty to offer to keep kids and adults busy and spread out. The hosts replied quickly to all requests and even met us at the property when we checked in. Highly recommend!

Amazing!

Five stars all the way! Beautiful well cared for home and property with a sandy beach, clear water, beach and water toys, kayaks, backyard games…everything and more to make this an ideal vacation for our family. Hosts Jerame and Sue were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay. The ping pong table was a huge hit with our family as well. We loved our time here. Thank you Jerame and Sue!!

Wonderful Vacation Spot

Everything about this home was wonderful: plenty of dishes, silverware, towels, games and ways to enjoy the clear water. Our family truly enjoyed staying here and the hosts were most gracious. There was only one small problem. The listing didn't mention that if you provide your own boat, you have to pull it out each night or park it elsewhere. After discussion, the owner let us know that the resort down the street had a pontoon with a lift and it was just a few houses away. That worked well for us. Overall, a great experience.

This property is amazing and will not disappoint you!

Jerame and Sue were great hosts, always being available if we needed anything. Their beautiful home is well furnished and stocked with anything you need. It's a great location with a flat yard for outdoor games, very close to the excellent sandy beach. We rented their pontoon which was a highlight of our week's stay. We will definitely consider this property for a future stay.

Family fun!

Great vacation! Everything we needed was available to us. Beautiful beach and yard. Lots of relaxing and playing! Guided fishing tour with Justin Lightfoot we would highly recommend. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly.

Exceeded our expectations!!

Wow… everything about this property exceeded our expectations! This is a beautiful home with several interesting features and it was impeccably clean. It also offers a gorgeous view of sunsets on Ottertail Lake. The home has a great beach and the kids/grandkids spent hours swimming and playing with the provided water toys. All the amenities, both inside and outdoors, were included. Jeremy and Sue were excellent hosts and great people. I don’t think the pictures really convey what a beautiful property this is, in fact I would give it 6-stars if that were possible

Best family vacation ever!

Our family of 11 had an incredible week in this beautiful home. Plenty of room for all of us to relax and enjoy the incredible lake view. Both kitchens were well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The ping pong table and private beach area were the favorite spots with the kids. The owner also rents their pontoon and ski boats. We had a blast on and off the water. We will definitely be back!

Midway Park Retreat

We had a marvelous stay at the Midway Park retreat. This beautiful home had gorgeous views right on Ottertail Lake with a lovely beach. The home is spacious with a unique and perfect layout. It included every amenity imaginable. Jereme and Sue were amazing hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed. We appreciated them meeting us upon arrival to give us a tour, explain all the systems( TV, water, and electrical), and show us where everything was. They could not have more gracious and welcoming. We will definitely be back to this gorgeous, relaxing, and fun hide-a-way!

Perfect Lake Vacation !

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake home! It’s conveniently right off the highway & nestled in a quiet area with great neighbors & just a few Steps away from a sandy private beach & lake access . What more could you ask for ? We can’t say enough great things about our experience & would return in a heartbeat ! Aside from being well cared for, clean , spacious , & an absolutely stunning home , they provide everything you’d need for a spoiled & relaxing week at the lake . Ottertail is our favorite lake destination in the summer & this rental allowed us to share it in style with our extended family . We appreciated all the extras that come with this amazing rental, including the numerous water activities in the shed, beach towels , extra chairs for sitting around the wood fire pit at night , two levels of living space with 2 kitchens to store plenty of food & drinks , the ping pong table was a big hit w the teens and the list just goes on & on …. We rented jet skis , a pontoon , took floaties down the lazy River , shopped & went bowling , Hiking , golfing … there’s so much to do , you’ll literally run out of time , but that’s okay because you can always come back ! Congratulations to the stellar owners of this vrbo who are have gone above & beyond to make you feel more than welcome & right at home on amazing Ottertail Lake ! Thank you :)

Perfect Memorial Day Weekend

I booked Jerame and Sue’s place for the Memorial Day weekend for a group of couples. The property was beautiful and just like the pictures. The photos do no justice to the beauty of the lake and outside amenities. Everything was clean and very well thought out. From the wine waiting for us when we got there to the doughnuts left at the front door when we left. The house itself was beautiful and perfect for larger gatherings. We really enjoyed using the ping pong table and they had a lot of board games as well as outdoor amenities. Jerame and Sue were both there to greet us when we came and were contantly responding right away when I needed something or asked a question. Everyone had a great time and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home. Welcoming Hosts!

Sue and Jerame were wonderful hosts! ☺️ The house (and lake view) was beautiful with all of the amenities. Having two levels with their own living rooms was really nice to let the kids have their own space from adults. Smart TV(s) for a rainy day to snuggle up next to the fireplace and watch Netflix or Disney+. Two coffee makers was a simple but big bonus in our eyes! 😉 The guys enjoyed fishing (even if it was in rain and snow 🎣 ❄️) and the ladies enjoyed shopping in Ottertail at the fun boutiques and shops. We made wonderful memories!! Definitely would recommend!

September getaway

Our family planned a vacation with our future son-in-law's family. Jerame and Sue's property couldn't have been more perfect for the trip. Each family had their own space, as well as, plenty of space for all of us to gather for meals and relaxation. The house was beautiful and allowed us all to do our own thing whether it was down on the beach, paddle boarding or enjoying the evening on the patio with the fireplace going. The hosts were very attentive and made sure we had whatever was needed. We were all sad to have to return back to reality. We will definitely be booking this place again.

Great get away for all

The house was very clean and well supplied with activities for inside and out. Property manager was very polite, generous and helpful. We couldn't ask for better host. The house is amazing and very spacious.

As Advertised

Two families of 5. Everyone fit with plenty of space. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Jerame and Sue reached out from the moment we booked and were very helpful in recommending places to go and what other things there were to do. They helped us with our boat rentals as well. If you are really interested in fishing, I would recommend a guide service, as it was difficult to navigate on this type of lake. Trip was a hit, and we would definitely visit again.

Ideal Getaway

The house was immaculate and laid out perfectly for our group (kids on one floor and adults on the other). Our group spent hours enjoying the beach and water toys and fire pit in the evenings. There were tons of games to keep us occupied while out of the sun. Property owners were very hospitable and responsive. I gave 4 stars for location only because there’s not a lot within walking distance. But groceries, etc are a short drive away.

2020 Summer Vacation

The owners were very easy to work with. Answered all my questions very promptly. The rental property had everything we needed and more. I liked that the owners had plenty of water toys to use and more. Very nice spot on the lake and learned that we were staying on the calmer sandy portion. Great spot for younger kids to play. The only draw back is if you have more than one boat you can not leave on the dock overnight. The good news is there is a resort that is within walking distance to rent a slip. The home was very beautiful and had plenty of room for all of us. We had a great week of weather so spent most of our time outside. We all liked that it they have 2 big refrigerators so no need to keep things in coolers. Very gracious hosts for the stay. Thanks for a great time with some good memories.

Fantastic Property and great owners!!

We found the lake house on Ottertail to be beautiful. The sunsets each night were stunning from the water and the house. The house and property were Very clean and the owners were so gracious And quick to assist in any way. The lake house was spacious and worked perfect for our family. Would definitely consider renting in the future.
