Fantastic stay. The place is so warm and cozy and the owner is spectacular. She responded to my messages immediately and was always so kind. Will definitely stay here again upon returning to this amazing town. Highly recommend!
The cabin is perfect for a family getaway. The upstairs mattress is probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!!! The host Dana was very quick to respond to inquires. My only first world problem was there were not any hangers for clothing. Would definitely stay here again!!
We were unsure of how we were going to sleep the 3 kids and 4 adults in our party when we booked this home. But, that went away the moment we walked in. Dana went above and beyond to make sure it was taken care of for us. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, with a lot of outdoor space to relax. Our entire family was happy and comfortable the whole time.
This was our second year in a row staying here. Absolutely beautiful and cozy. Dana is tremendous to work with and made our stay very enjoyable. Great views and easily accessible to everything in Pigeon Forge. We hope to come back many more years for our annual vacation.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! So relaxing and cozy. Beautiful outdoors and we loved the deck areas! The screened in porch area was our favorite. Dana was amazing as a host, available to help when we needed and made sure we were taken care of! We would definitely stay here again when we visit the smokies.
We spent 4 amazing days at this cabin. The property manager was always in contact with us, answering questions and worried about every detail. The location is really good, we were close to a lot of the attractions. I recommend this place for fun and relaxing.
The property was on a beautiful mountain with magnificent views. It was close to the major attractions in Pigeon Forge, including Dollywood, and the trial heads in the Great Smoky Mountains State Park, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountains. The host was very responsive and kind. The kids loved the loft. Very enjoyable stay!
Great stay and location and my luci (dog) was happy too. The kids loved the pool table and hot tub to keep them busy on our down time
Very nice place. But you need to do something more about the trash the bear was in it twice. The Thompsons Ohio Thanks!!
We stayed at the cabin for the first time July 7-14,2023. The cabin is amazing, scenery is stunning. It was myself my husband our daughter our grand daughter and their dog gunnar. We will definitely be staying again and will recommend to all our friends
Cabin was perfect for our family of 3 adults and 2 teens. The teens had their own space upstairs and we loved having coffee and cocktails on the screened-in porch. It was also nice to come back and soak in the hot tub after a long days hike! Cabin had plenty of kitchen products to prepare breakfast each morning.

We enjoyed spending time at the cabin. We spent time relaxing on the porch and in the hot tub. The only thing I didn’t like was the steep and windy road we had to take to get to the cabin.
My family of 4 and our dog loved our stay at this cozy cabin! It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. My kids loved the pool table and hot tub. It is definitely up a winding mountain road that was a little scary for these flat-landed Floridians, but we were pros by the end of the week and our minivan made it up and down with no problems, even in the rain. The view over the mountain will likely be obscured by tree foliage in the summer, but we enjoyed some pretty sunrises through the branches. Overall thank you for a lovely stay!!
We absolutely loved this house. It was spacious but not huge. Everything you needed to cook was there. Fabulous outdoor space which we enjoyed every day that we were there. The beds were my favorite part. I’ve never rented a house and really slept good. Usually beds are cheap and uncomfortable. Pillows are thin and useless. Well, these mattresses are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on! Even small touches like nice quality sheets and thick pillows on the beds impressed me. The host was super responsive and extremely nice. We had a crowd and were running short on towels. She had Walmart deliver us some along with breakfast as a kind gesture. Overall 5 stars and such a beautiful cabin. Also the kids loved the upstairs pool table!
This property is exactly as described, and the pictures do not do it enough justice! The bedrooms are spacious and the multiple porches give everyone plenty of space to spread out. We even had a bird visitor, which thankfully, we were able to get out without damage to him or the cabin! The property owners were thoughtful with a gift basket, early check-in, and communicated with us frequently. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness and kindness during our stay!
This cabin is the best if you are looking for a nice getaway with all the amenities and pretty views. The porch covers 80% of the house so if outside is your thing you won’t be disappointed! Check in was easy and Dana is very good at communicating any and all things that need discussing. The road to the cabin is steep and winding, so 4 wheel drive recommended for the winter months for possible snow/ice but other than that it’s a beautiful drive up! Would highly recommend this cabin and will come visit again!
This place was AMAZING!!! It was absolutely perfect for a getaway for couples. It would be perfect for families as well. It had all the amenities needed. The hot tub and outdoor tv room were super nice. She went out of her way to make it personal for us. We were there celebrating our Anniversary with friends. She left us a meat and cheese tray and strawberries with some wine as well. Absolutely would recommend this place to anyone!! Will definitely stay here again if in the area. She was an AMAZING host! She was very quick to answer any questions we had. Place was decorated lovely. It has outdoor lights that automatically kicked on so when we arrived late at night, it was well lit instead of dark like most places are when arriving late.
We decided to stop in the area as we took our daughter to school in VA. This was our 1st visit to TN. We originally tried 2 places closer to Pigeon Forge. Those quickly were rented. We continued to look and came upon Lazy Bear Cabin. This cabin seemed to be perfect……and it was. About 15-20 mins from the main drag of Pigeon Forge. Upon arrival you will see a front porch connected to the side-stoop (entry door). The front porch has a hammock, small cafe table with a couple of chairs, some Adirondack chairs to spend sitting and pausing for a relaxing time. Just off the front porch is a fire pit area. When you enter the home: to the right is a living area and kitchen; straight head is the main bedroom and main bath; to the left are stairs that lead to loft area. The living area has a recliner and sleeper sofa, large tv, DVD player, dish network, wi-fi, etc. The kitchen has everything you will need. There were plenty of cooking utensils, plates, silverware, etc. Attached to the kitchen is a nice screened porch. There is a couch, 2 chairs, tv, and some games. You can access the back porch area from the screened area or from stairs on the side of the house. A table/chairs and hot tub are located here. We did not use the hot tub so can not speak of that. The main bedroom has a king bed, bedside tables, a couple of dressers, laundry area, tv. The main bath has a sink, shower, large tub, toilet, towels. The loft has a pool table, huge lounge/bed with trundle, king bed, twin sleeper sofa, tv, Nintendo (built in retro games.) The loft bath has sink, toilet, tub/shower combo, plenty of storage, towels. Needless to say, but this place has everything you will need. We were there during the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred. It rain on/off most of the time, but on Monday it started to rain about 9:30 p.m and stopped about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. With that said, we found plenty to do around the cabin and really enjoyed our family time. We can not end this review without thanking Dana. She went above and beyond to help make our few days here even more special. Thank you so very much!!

Thank you all so much for choosing our cabin! We are happy you all enjoyed your stay. Good luck to your daughter with school, it is so exciting for her. It was sad for me when my baby went but I was excited for her journey as well. Be safe in your travels to school and back home. Please visit with us again:)
Excellent host, very fast to respond to any issues. Cabin is great we had a short stay so can’t comment on using kitchen it appeared to have everything you would need. It has great outdoor spaces that the weather while we stayed made difficult to use. My only minor complaint is with 3 adults & a teen the living space (couch & chair) is a little tight. But had we been able to use the outside areas more we probably wouldn’t have noticed. Again great place very convenient to all of Pigeon Forge & the park
The cabin was beautiful and clean. Check in and check out was a breeze. The owner was very nice and checked in to ensure that we had everything we needed during our stay. Thanks for sharing your cabin with our family!
This is a beautiful cabin. The owner has maximized the space for your use and entertainment. It is a lovely cabin with all the thoughtful extras. It was also very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Also, there is not much yard to speak of so we had to take the dog to the dog park daily for exercise.
The only downside is the location. It is way back into the mountain from the main drag in Pigeon Forge. While this can be a good thing, please be aware that it takes about 25 minutes to reach the main drag from the cabin and you will not have phone reception for that entire time. The reason it takes so long is that the road is very narrow and very winding. You must drive slowly. Also, I would not recommend renting in months with snow and ice if you do not have 4 wheel drive. Other than those 2 items you can't go wrong renting this cabin. It is very well appointed and comfortable and cozy.
The property was clean and neat and decorated very cute. The a/c was cold (we visited for Jeep Invasion in August). The hot tub worked great, the owner of the property was very responsive with the couple of questions we had. Wi-Fi available, satellite tv (cable) worked in every room. Cute sunroom which was great for morning coffee and news without waking the entire house. Large bedroom downstairs with full bath, laundry, living room, eat in kitchen. Covered patio with hammock, uncovered patio with dining table and hot tub. Fire pit area available. Upstairs loft has a pool table , queen bed, day bed with trundle, love seat and full bath. We brought our well behaved dog and she had room to sniff around outside but we did not leave her unattended outside. Owners are pet friendly. Cabin was 15 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge, Kroger and Publix. Kroger will deliver. Once we found the location it was quiet and secluded. Would recommend 4 wheel drive in winter! Some roads are narrow and steep but just take it slow. We would definitely stay here again!
