Townhome-style South Padre Island condo in a Laguna Madre Bayfront complex. Pool, boat slips, fishing and sunsets - all the best that the bayside has to offer is just steps from your door, yet the beach is not far away! This property will accommodate up to 13 guests, as long as at least 3 are children UNDER the age of 3.

Imagine yourself fishing off the dock or relaxing with your family and friends in front of the still, quiet bay just across the courtyard. The pool is also just steps away, so you may choose to spend your time poolside just soaking up the sun. The grounds of La Solana feature a quiet and beautifully landscaped center courtyard.

On the first floor, this comfortable condominium features an open kitchen, dining, and living area with a balcony that overlooks the courtyard. It is beautifully furnished throughout with decor that will never let you forget that you are at the beach. Upstairs is a theater room complete with a private balcony that has partial water views. With bedrooms both upstairs and downstairs, this condo is perfect for a large family with the perfect balance of shared and private space for everyone to enjoy.

Very roomy, comfortable beds, beautiful decor. Only gave us 1 role of toilet paper per bathroom. Lots of stairs. Boat dock needs work & we had fishing poles stolen off of the boat.

Great place to stay!

The property was wonderful! There was 10 people in our group, 5 kids, and the room with the twin beds and two trundle beds was perfect for them. The property was very clean and the location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants and food trucks. I would highly recommend this location to friends and family and will definitely book with Padre Getaways again.

Awesome location, very comfortable!

The condo was perfect for our two families - the upstairs area is a haven for teens with multiple beds and a pull-out sofa with large t.v. The living areas and downstairs were very comfortable - plenty of room for all of us! The locations was also exceptional - we fished off the dock, walked to dinner/lunch/coffee, and activities right from the condo - and enjoyed the boardwalk nearby! The place was also very clean! We can't wait to go back!

Spacious and centrally located

The property was just as advertised. It was very spacious and we had 5 adults and 3 kids staying. Enough dinnerware to accommodate us and then some. It is centrally located to every thing on the island. Grocery store and beach a nice short walk. Great restaurants in walking distance

We did a short mini vacay at South Padre we enjoyed our stay but did not have a pleasant experience during check-in. Check was supposed to have been at 3pm and we arrived early before check in time and room was not ready until 3:30pm. So after checking i in at office and going through traffic we did not arrive out our stay until almost 4pm, which caused us to run late to our fishing guide trip. Also, parking was a bit of a problem; we had people park on our assigned parking a few times and I think for a room for 13 that maybe more than 2 parking permits should be given.

Worst experience ever

Very old condo. broken bed frame/Mattress. AC did not work the first day. After contacted the owner the repair guy came and made it work a little bit. However the second floor and the families room/kitchen area won't cool down until late evening. Smoke detector went off for no reason at 3am. No conditioner was provided. Only 2 small hotel size body wash for our ten people party & 3-days' stay. The manage refused to provide more. We will not come back nor recommend it to anyone.

Unwelcoming Island & Property owner

Felt unwelcomed by the Island because I got towed three times. Once I was in a spot with no tow sign and walked into the store next door. Ten min later my car is gone. Ruined vacation, kids stranded on the side of the road. Property owners failed to address the broken washing machine after many attempts to contact them. We were stuck with dirty clothes and towels all week. We made the best and enjoyed the small things. But we will be investigating this horrible experience further with the proper people. I was told by a resident of the condo that the property owner is furious by the excessive towing and I can see why. I sincerely hope anyone who wants to enjoy the beach just stays in Port Isabel and take the very short drive to the beach during the day. Good luck to everyone.

You get what you pay for

The unit was very spacious as advertised. There were some short comings. Such as: 1) No toilet paper holder in either bathroom. If you set it on the counter it kept getting wet. 2) Hot water did not work in the up stairs sink The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Being able to have a private dock on the bay was very nice.

Great communication leading up to our stay. Upon arrival and designated time, we had to wait an extra 30 minutes to get the key to the condo. Other than that, it was a great experience. The small pier was great for fishing. Overall we had a great time!

Shortcomings

We liked the place very much but there’s a few things they could be better at. With all the fees added to the price per night, it almost doubled the fee listed. For that kind of money you would think there would be more than one roll of toilet paper In the bathrooms. There were no bars of soap in either bathroom as well. The place holds 13 people but only has three coffee cups. The 4th bedroom doesn’t have any beds in it. Just two very old sleeper sofas with very worn out mattresses. Other than that the place was grest
