Blair Holiday House is only one minute stroll to beautiful Waikanae beach. This newly decorated and furnished house in Tutere Street is a peaceful holiday escape for couples and families.

The house is 2 bedrooms and the 3rd bedroom is a separate studio.

The House is fully equipped with modern furnishings, has a large lounge/dining room, kitchen with adjoining sunny conservatory, two bedrooms (sleeps four) and one bathroom (with bath and shower). Separate toilet. Sky provided, plus a dvd player. Wifi is available. Your stay also includes quality linen, towels and beach towels. Highchair and portacot (not linen) available for your use.

The Studio: Has a Queen Bed, there is a kitchenette with a fridge and tea, coffee facilities. Plus a bathroom (toilet and shower). Towels and beach towels provided. Sleeps 2

The large sheltered fenced off section is safe for children, with outdoor BBQ, plus off-street parking for the car/boat and a garage.

Waikanae is situated on the Kapiti Coast, Only 45 minutes drive from Wellington Central.(trains and buses now available to Waikanae) also Paraparaumu Airport only 15 mins drive away.
Waikanae township has supermarkets, restaurants, and Coastlands Shopping Mall only 10 minutes drive away in Paraparaumu.

Nearby: Waikanae beach is a safe sandy beach, great for swimming, boating (boat ramp very close, boat can be launched by tractor for a small fee), long relaxing walks and has beautiful views of Kapiti Island. The children’s playground nearby, tennis courts, well stocked grocery store, cafe and restaurants are minutes away. It is a short drive to Lindale Tourist Complex, Southward Car Museum, swimming pool, golf and bowls, with native bird reserves nearby to explore.

Perfect for families

The house is perfectly set up with everything you could need, from fans in the bedrooms to an Xbox and dvds to suit many different ages. The kids loved the separate sleep out and a garage was filled with beach gear and sports equipment. The location was an absolute dream, across the road from the beach and just down the road from the playground. We loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Perfect retreat right by the beach

Rachelle was very helpful and responsive, and her home was very clean, well-stocked with everything you need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable, there were heat pumps in every zone, and plenty of DVDs and CDs to keep occupied. The location across from the beach and near walking trails made the stay even better. The lovely enclosed seating area meant that I could relax and read outside when it rained. I will definitely stay again.

Handy Location

There were three of us, one couple and one single, so the Separate Studio was ideal. Blair Holiday House is close to two very good restaurants, the Motorway, Mitre 10 and other Suppliers, that made our work as Building Contractors easy, having everything we needed in close proximity.

Lovely holiday home

My husband and I spent a relaxing four weeks here while visiting family along the Kapiti Coast. The house is well-kept, well-stocked and very comfortable (we especially enjoyed the conservatory).It's also ideally located with easy access to the beach (across the road) and just a short walk to the village. Rachelle herself was a pleasure to deal with, a responsive and warm host who made us feel welcome from the start. We definitely plan to return!

Relaxing break at Waikanae

We enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing and we had great weather. The beach is gorgeous and there are plenty of trips you can do around the area. Unfortunately, we were both confused as we had stayed at a Blair property next door and thought we had booked there. Luckily I hadn't invited friends to stay as this house only has two bedrooms. I did not enjoy the traffic noise on the road outside this house and for this reason would be unlikely to stay again, but would book Blair' next door. My friend found it difficult to read in main lounge room at night as the lighting was poor and also the main bedroom (main bulb not working). Overall a great stay thxs

Lovely mini break in a fabulous place

This was the easiest bach stay I’ve had for ages. Communication was excellent, the house was spotless and perfect for our needs & it is a great location. I really appreciated the beach towels & the lovely linen. Oh and little things like cooking oil & sharp knives in the kitchen. I’ll definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay here! The property was roomy, comfortable, warm, with everything we could possibly need supplied. The owner was lovely enough to put the portacot up for us before we arrived! Great access to the beach and we loved the thai takeaways from down the road so much we had it twice. Will definitely be returning and have our fingers crossed for better weather next time

A real treat

Lovely well-equipped house, easy access to stunning beach, nice cafes and shops close by, we had a great time. Only thing to mention is that white curtains don’t keep the light out on an early morning!
