This weekend away was a gift for my daughter and her partner. She loved it. She enjoyed meeting the lovely dog, and was impressed with the tranquility of the place, listening to the birds and relaxing outside with a cuppa. It was a perfect chilled weekend in a gorgeous building.

A beautiful and wonderful cottage. The charming setting amidst the arboretum and nursery setting, along with the prolific collection of native birds foraging within the grounds made my stay an idyllic and memorable experience.Highly recommended for anybody wishing to spend time amongst nature and away from the busyness of life!

Beautiful property with friendly hosts. The stables are small but comfortable and surprisingly warm. There is a nice fireplace and a few other heaters to keep you warm when it gets a bit more chilly. Loft bedroom is lovely and very clean, and the whole place feels very private. Would definitely stay again.

„The Stables“ cottage is a great place to relax and unwind. Karen had set the log burner for us when we arrived on a cold winter’s day and we soon had a cosy fire going which heated up the place in no time. The cottage is tastefully designed and decorated, well maintained and equipped with everything you need. We also enjoyed the little bushwalk in the arboretum right next to the „Stables“. Karen and Steven are the most welcoming and friendly hosts. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This was the cutest accomodation. It was comfortable and so full of character. We had everything we needed and the surroundings were so peaceful. I just loved staying here. I hope we can return and stay longer.
