This charming log cabin is flooded with natural light, good vibes, and a warm, welcoming personality. Wake up to coffee on the deck under the tall pines and listen to the cheerful morning birds as you contemplate how you will seize the day.

Cozy Cabin Near Lake Geneva

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bay Chalet in July. It is clean, cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a getaway for our family of 5 plus dog. We had no problems and look forward to staying again soon! Great property and communicative owners.

Cabin was excellent! Kitchen was well-stocked with cookware/dishes/appliances. The property was clean and the multiple outdoor spaces made for a nice long weekend getaway. Would highly recommend!

Girls weekend

My daughter, her friend and her mom and I stayed for Country Thunder. Nice quiet location. So close to the lake and downtown Lake Geneva. Loved the nice front yard to play bags and the deck off the back was great for breakfast. Would stay here again!

Thanksgiving Holiday

Overall the Chalet was just as described. We loved the rustic feel and enjoyed the fact we could bring our dogs. Holly was quick to respond to any questions. We would stay again if ever in the area. Terrific little get away during these crazy times.

Great stay!

We visited over Thanksgiving. We loved the location and the fact we felt in the woods while being close to everything. So charming as it was already decorated for the Holidays. The fireplace made it even that more cozy.The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated the outdoor games - Bags - room for our dog and plenty of space to spread out. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Amazing cabin in the woods

Fantastic! Extremely clean. Had everything...cooking utensils, indoor and outdoor games, beautiful outdoor sitting areas. Very close to Lake Geneva which is a really fun town. Enjoyed a brewery, pizza, boat ride to Black Point and a walk around Lake Geneva. Holly is an excellent host and responds quickly. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great spot and better than we ever expected

The place felt like out of a story. Very nicely kept and lots of uniqueness and attention to detail. Balcony was cool to grill out on and overlook the nature in the back. Fenced in dog yard was perfect for the dog and the fire pit and chairs were nice to make s’mores and enjoy cocktails out by. Will be back.

What a beautiful chalet. Such a quiet area yet close to all activities. The cabin was beautiful and so comfortable. A wonderful retreat after a day's activities. Large refridgerator, well stocked kitchen (although I could not find a scissors). Our dog enjoyed the large yard ( the dog run was nice but walking the steps is difficult for an older person). The steps from the driveway to the porch do need some work. We generally walked arou d the porch and went up the opposite side. These were minor inconveniences and would not prevent u from coming again. We had a wonderful time.

Deal breaker

The home is very nice and comfortable but…… We ran out of towels by day 2 and there isn’t a washer and dryer at the house and spending vacation time in a laundry mat is the deal breaker. Very nice place to stay for one or two nights!

The Tri Fecta of vacation rentals

Perfection! House, host and location! All are fabulous. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. House is so well planned out, great places to be inside and out. Inside is wonderful kitchen then dining and open living. Outside has great front yard/fire pit and back is deck/grill/dining. Hard to decide where you want to be. Holly the Host is amazing. So helpful and kind. And location, we just loved. If you are looking for a great booking for your vacation, ththis is it! Thanks Holly. We will for sure be back

We had a really nice stay overall and truly appreciated how responsive, helpful, and generous Holly was throughout. She gave us some amazing local recommendations that we loved, and our dog especially loved the front yard. The fireplace was super cozy, and it was such a thoughtful touch that they had firestarters ready for us.We also really appreciated how fairly and kindly Holly handled an issue that came up during our stay. Great “Up North” Feel

Loved the fireplace and the King-sized bed. Our family enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving together here and the owner even decorated the house ahead of time for Christmas for us! I also appreciated being able to have our dog with us. Plan to stay here again in the near future.

The perfect holiday season getaway

What a wonderful property! When my husband and I walked in we were delighted to see all the holiday decor throughout the cabin, it really put us in a festive mood for the week! And the hot chocolate bar?! I was like a kid every night looking forward to my cup of cocoa. Also, the bed was so comfortable. Not always the case in rentals so that was also a great surprise. We brought along our dog who loved laying by the wood fire place after we took her for a long walk at the prairie path. One thing to note for future renters is that the fenced backyard is not accessible from the inside of the house. That may have been on me not reading the description thoroughly enough, but the grassy front yard is secluded enough that we could let her out in the morning without worry. Thank you again for hosting us, we're already planning a return trip!

Why they chose this property

It was love at first site when I saw this log cabin. It was my dream - less than one mile to the Williams Bay downtown and beach (best area of the lake), yet tucked away in the woods with tons of tranquility. You can sit under the towering pines and listen to the boats purr across the lake, enjoy a crackling fire and feel a world away.
