The Space:
A two-story Williams Bay house with a full-width covered front porch, an 11-minute walk (or 2-minute drive) from Williams Bay Beach and the public boat launch. It suits families and two-family trips who want to park once and walk to the lake, dinner and coffee.

Fall and winter from here
• Walk the Geneva Lake Shore Path from Williams Bay
• Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy, about 5 minutes by car, for boardwalk hikes and fall color
• Yerkes Observatory, about a 1-mile walk
• Grand Geneva (golf, spa, skiing) about 15 minutes by car; Alpine Valley about 25 to 30 minutes
• Dinner a short walk or quick drive away: Pier 290, Cafe Calamari, Harpoon Willie's
Good to know before you book
• The house is on the main road through the village. That is why everything is walkable, and it also means you will hear traffic, most on weekend evenings. Light sleepers may prefer a back-street home.
• The stairs to the second floor are steep with low headroom. Tall guests need to duck, and they may not suit anyone unsteady on stairs.
• A Ring doorbell camera is at the door, and an interior noise monitor measures decibel level only (no audio recorded).
Guest Access:
You have the whole house, front porch, back deck, yard and driveway to yourselves. Self check-in with a smart lock. Park in the driveway, with room for a boat and trailer; street parking is also available. The second floor is reached by a steep staircase with low headroom. The kayak, its caddy and 2 bikes in the garage are yours to use.
The Neighborhood:
Williams Bay Beach and the public boat launch are an 11-minute walk or 2-minute drive. Guests describe the slower pace of Williams Bay compared with busy Lake Geneva: a quick walk to the lake, library, coffee shop and restaurants, from a house on the village main road. Our fall picks: the boardwalk at Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy (about 5 minutes by car), Yerkes Observatory (about a 1-mile walk), and dinner at Pier 290 or Harpoon Willie's, a short walk or quick drive. Downtown Lake Geneva is 10 to 15 minutes by car. Frosty Moose across the street is a seasonal ice cream shop, so check its hours outside summer.
Getting Around:
You can leave the car in the driveway for the beach, lakefront and village restaurants, and two bikes are in the garage. A car is useful for downtown Lake Geneva (10 to 15 minutes), Grand Geneva (about 15 minutes) and Alpine Valley (25 to 30 minutes). Milwaukee's General Mitchell airport (MKE) is about a 48-minute drive. Ride-sharing is available locally.
Other Things to Note:
• On the village main road: expect traffic noise, most on weekend evenings.

• One exterior camera: a Ring doorbell camera at the door. Inside there is a noise monitor only (decibel level, no audio recorded).
