Singalongwaves - Raumatibach: Absolute beach

Raumati is synonymous for its safe swimming, fishing and its great Cafes. Add an expansive beachfront property with all its amenities and comforts of home and you have the ideal recipe for your family's next unforgettable holiday experience. 40 min drive from Wellington, 10 min to Lindale farm and handy to Raumati Village, it has beautiful views of south island and Kapiti island.

Three living rooms provide ample space for relaxation and open onto a huge timber deck - just perfect for outdoor living. Four bedrooms (main-ensuite) and living areas easily accommodate 14, maximum of 18. A bigger group can be accommodated with the help of the flat downstairs which can sleep an extra 6.

PS: Please don't forget to pack the boogie-boards and sea kayak.

Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$150.00 per stay); Linen (Optional, NZ$30.00 per person);

We are glad to announce the Super Special for WEEKDAYS stay at our Bach beginning this Easter. The rental per night will be only $350 for 4 people and $50 per adult and $25 per child thereafter. Please note that this is for minimum 2 nights' stay and if the stay is in continuation with weekend then normal rates will apply for the weekend.
Special conditions:
Kids are okay but not toddlers. Smoking outside the house permitted. Two nights minimum stay during weekends. Three nights minimum stay during the long weekends and New Year. The rate mentioned is for a family of four or for up to 4 adults. Per adult / child per night additional. Discount offered on week+ stays. Linen supplied on request at an additional charge.

Great stay even during winter

The weather wasnt the best but the property fit what we needed perfectly. House was huge and the flat was awesome. Will definitely be back during summer

Great location, easy to find and convenient to coastlands shopping centre, sizable property. There were a few additional charges that appeared with the final payment (so be aware), no BBQ was a shame (beach bach and all), no dryer (a shame as the weather was wet and only three clothes pegs so hard to do washing), one sharp knife (good) but chef knife blunt and wobbly, cheese grater rusty (a lot), when we arrived there wasn't bedding on the master bedroom bed so had to contact the 'emergency contact' and the cleaner came and did it (after a short while), no beach towels (shame as at the beach), requirement to take rubbish away (even though there clearly is rubbish collection given all the bins out during the stay) was a pain - had to rush around on the last morning to the refuse transfer station (long drive) - so a mix of things...

Great setting, expensive for our group

Great setting and deck with beautiful views. An older property. Just beware the extra Fees when booking as it made it expensive for 5 people staying 2 nights, and note the main house has 4 bedrooms, with the 5th downstairs opened up for larger groups.

Great family gathering spot

Fabulous location and very spacious for our local family to visit. Access to the beach perfect. A bit disappointed in the bar-b-que, and we had to buy a sun umbrella for the table to get some shade on the wonderful deck. There was a clapped out broken umbrella in the garage may have got damaged with previous tenants. We certainly would book the house again, it was a lovely week.

Family Getogether Celebration

There were 15 of us and it accommodated us very well. Indoor/outdoor flow excellent. Would have appreciated knowing that the BBQ was in the garage, as very old BBQ was on site and we thought this was the one to be used.

Beautify location

Loved our stay over Christmas and beautiful location, although the property says is for up to 23 people, we were a group of 22 adults and it felt too crowded. Loved our stay anyway

Great location. Tired expensive house.

Good sized property. In need of maintenance. Had to clean the outside stairs to basement flat. Could not close main toilet door as you get locked in otherwise. Some windows unable to close. Warm if you get the fire going. Needs something like a heatpump. Fitted 12. Great views.

A great weekend in sea and sun

Booking and payments simple and efficient. Location and communication about keys clear. The bulk of the keys,ring and label made the box difficult to close, but possible with some practise. The downstairs had to be vacuumed to clean the dust and spiderwebs out. The kitchen had food crumbs on all surfaces and the freezer was dirty with frozen meat blood or chocolate. Also spiderwebs were upstairs with spiders visible. Bathrooms excellent. Views great, with a nice big deck. One door handle to the TV lounge came off the door when it snagged in one persons clothes as he walked through. The handle is now on the sofa awaiting reinstallation. The WiFi was excellent for critical use in education and business applications. We have found other places better equipped with books, magazines and board games. Thank you for a happy holiday. Amazing Location!!

We stayed in the property for a friend’s stag do. The views are priceless with plenty of room for our group. Everything was very well equipped. I would definitely stay again :)

60th birthday gathering

Great location close to beach access right from house. Big kitchen great two separate living areas if have kids. Awesome heated floor in bathroom. Heaps of off street parking. Really well insulated so warm. Massive kitchen for entertaining. This will be a house to come back to for sure:-)

Great family get away

We had a wonderful weekend with the extended family to celebrate our fathers 90th birthday. The layout of the house allowed us both to be able to assemble all at one time as well as having seperate living areas when required. The kitchen had a great amount of crockery allowing us to enjoy eating their as well.

A weekend at the beach

This is such a beautiful house. Ten of us went in the end, and found it so pleasant in every way. It is well located, a short walk from shops, beach and restaurants. The view is breathtaking. Thank you.

Fantastic location with magical view.

Fantastic location with magical view. It would be nice to have a little beach at the front but that is quibbling as you can easily walk up to the beach area. Garden and deck made for delightful outdoor enjoyment. Close to shops etc yet sufficiently far away for this to feel like a real holiday home, even though it is really very close to Wellington.
