ROTARY CLUB MAKETU has a very friendly club meeting on a Wednesday evening at the Maketu Community Centre..

Maketu Markets are held the 3rd and 5th Sunday of the Month.
( sometimes in winter market Days change). Held on Village Green.
Maketu Kaimoana Festival in Feb or March normally.

RUBBISH : Please Take your rubbish/bottles with You ( so sorry - new Council binn service has created difficulties for land/house owners to have to put Binn out and bring in if Owners Not available. There are Big Black rubbish bags provided for you .
