Très bonnes vacances, maison spacieuse pour 8 personnes, c’est idéal, très bien équipée au niveau vaisselle et pour cuisiner.Table extérieure un peu juste pour 8, 2 transats supplémentaires seraient les bienvenus.

Belle et grande maison ancienne avec piscine dans charmant village

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette grande et belle maison de caractère avec piscine située au coeur du village. Piscine qui a été la bienvenue car deux semaines de canicule. Maison très bien équipée. Petit bémol : absence de parasol et barbecue vieillot. Plages de L'Orb à proximité et Méditerranée à 30 minutes. Région très sympa à visiter. Mention spéciale à Charles en charge du nettoyage de la piscine : personne très agréable. Vicky qui gère la location a répondu à nos diverses demandes. Très bon séjour.

Charmante maison située dans le centre de Saint Geniès…

Sa situation permet d’accéder a pied aux quelques commerces à proximité. La maison est charmante, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée, en particulier pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner.

Had a good time, some issues

The house is big and has plenty of room. Pool is in sunshine for the afternoon, we were able to eat on the patio which was lovely although some shade would have been nice at lunchtime. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless when we arrived. Unfortunately everything we used in the kitchen needed washing before use and cupboards fridge and freezer contained a random collection of food that was mostly out of date, often by years. The pool area when we arrived was in need of a good sweep as the patio was dirty, bird muck on the furniture. There were not four usable chairs on the patio in a house that sleeps 8. Likewise only three places to sit round the pool. The pool was full of leaves as there is no cover. When we contacted the manager we were told that the pool was cleaned every Wednesday (we arrived on Saturday) and that the house had been prepared on the Thursday. She told us that pool towels were not included although the owner had said they were. She did direct us to the pool towels later and brought us another chair, but we didn’t find our communications with her hugely positive. The house didn’t seem to have been occupied for some time before we arrived and felt like it needed a good airing. It didn’t feel like it had been set up as a holiday let property. The location is good, pretty village in lovely countryside. The roads in front and behind the house get noisy early in the morning, from about 6am, then quieten down. We had a good break for two weeks and all of the things we have included here would be pretty easy to put right. The owner is very helpful and we enjoyed positive communications with her.
