The perfect holiday escape for families and couples who just want the basics. but with free Wi-Fi and a heat pump.

Our cottage is located in a laid-back, safe, quiet neighbourhood.
Cosy and compact 1-bedroom cottage on a good-sized fully fenced corner section.

We are only five minutes walk to Buffalo Beach.

Covered verandah. Exterior power plugs for campervans and mobile homes. A great Kiwi alternative to a hotel or motel.

Kitchenette with full-sized fridge/freezer, benchtop mini-oven, and microwave. All the kitchenware you need (pots, pans, crockery, cutlery).

3-burner hooded BBQ with side burner.

Bach sleeps five. Additional guests can camp on the property subject to prior approval.

Pillows & duvets are supplied; guests will need to bring their own linen (sheets/pillowcases), and towels.

Dogs welcome (outside only).

Great location , perfect for our family holiday

We had stayed here before but in winter, we picked it again for its location , value for money for a family wanting a summer beach holiday , fact that owner Stuart is generous in letting us pitch a tent thus room for our family and the boat and also the dog in fab fully fenced section.cant fault for kind of Bach holiday we were after.

Happy Days At Whitianga Cottage

The place is perfect for us. The accommodation has everything we need, and the section is big enough for our miniature schnauzers to run around and enjoy themselves.

Wonderful stay

We had a great week staying at Whiti beach cottage. It had everything we needed and a huge lawn which was great for games with our children and our dog too. It is in a great location and the beach is a short walk away. Excellent communication and booking process. Thanks for a wonderful stay :-)

Great Stay

This was in a nice quiet location with a huge section which was great for back yard cricket and frisbee, and plenty of space to park the boat. Kitchen was well stocked with all utensils etc…you could need. Excellent communication with the property owner, would happily stay again.

A Gem of a Place

The property was in a great location handy to the beach and an easy walk into town for a coffee. The place is fully fenced and our 2 miniature schnauzers loved running around the wide open spaces. Will definitely use the place again.

Fantastic Stay

We are so grateful to have had this property for a week with a big group and dogs. Stuart was so accomodating when plans changed and we couldnt have asked for a better spot. Perfect for dogs and room for activities even with a boat and tents and so close to the beach. Thank you so much, we would certainly return here.

Ideal beach bach

Clean, lots of section for our boys (dogs) to run round, and our daughter of course. Close to the beach. Couple of minutes drive into town. Thanks for letting us stay.

Great spot, exactly as described .

We were after a budget and family friendly spot…this was perfect,simple , everything you needed, huge backyard for dog and cricket ! Our in-laws parked the camper van up on the section and stayed.5 minutes from lovely beach and a walk along beach to main part of Whitianga.will def be back !! Thanks Stuart.

What it says on the tin!

Great spot, close to the beach and within 20/30 mins walk to town. Nice big fenced area for kids and pets. If you’re looking for a cheap no thrills place to stay this is your place. Don’t forget to take bed linen and towels

Great Little Getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect location with only a few minutes walk to the beach & other tracks. Convenient location. Large fenced lawn. Was perfect for what we required. Host was excellent with communication & was very accommodating. We managed to add on an additional nights stay at very short notice. Thanks again!
