Stunning 180 degree sea views

Spectacular views of the Mercury Islands and on a clear day you can see as far as Great Barrier Island. January 2022 we were watching dolphins from our deck - pretty special views if I do say so myself! Our house sits at the front of our 2 acres - so very little traffic goes by as you have farm land all around you - however, it is still only a 5 minute walk to the beach!

Kuaotunu is a well kept secret - a small village on the seaside between Matarangi and Otama/Opito bays and just 16km from Whitianga.

Our bach is a great spot to just spend hours sitting on the deck listening to the tui and the bellbirds or get enthusiastic and go down to the beach for a walk. The boat ramp is a 2 minute drive and can be easily seen from the deck.

Locally we have a 7 day a week store that sells pretty much everything, a cafe that sells great coffee and a pizza place that makes mouth watering pizzas. Oh yes, and a fire station - and that's it! Not very many tourists come our way - but if you want a trip to somewhere a little more lively, Whitianga has a huge New World/Countdown, The Warehouse, Movie theatre and cafes galore.

Pets may be possible. Outside dogs will be considered favourably.

House is ideal for families.

Plenty of water available for showers and washing down the boat.

Extras: Linen optionally hire - = NZ$20.00 per person; NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave however if you want someone to do your cleaning for you, please ask and I will see if one of our locals is available.
