The Cottages (Awa and Moana) will each accommodate two people, with a choice of either a king-sized bed or two long-single beds, and a roll-away slat bed is available for a third person. Located on the outskirts of the village of Te Awanga, the Hawke's Bay "Landscapes Trail" is on your Cottages doorstep for you to enjoy a refreshing morning walk through the village to the ocean, or a stroll through picturese farmland towards the Cape and Hygee at Clifton Bay Café. Antoher option is rent our bikes (E-bikes and standard bikes available) and explore our wonderful local community and visit three renowned wineries within 2.5km of our cottages. E-bikers might like to explore further afield on Hawke's Bays extensive trails. Our localinternationally acclaimed wineries Clearview, Elephant Hill and Te Awanga estate are big local attractions, and for the serious wine enthusiast there are an additional 30 plus vineyards located within a half hour drive. We are near the gateway to Cape Kidnappers (famous for the world's largest land based Gannet Bird Colony which can be visited on foot, or via an organised tour riding behind tractors along the beach, or overland in air-conditioned comfort through rolling farmland). It is also home to one of the world's foremost golf courses, with spectacular clifftop greens against an ocean back drop. Whilst Te Awanga and Haumoana offer glimpses of an eclectic artist community with roadside galleries to explore, a 15-20 minute scenic drive takes you to either the Art Deco delight of Napier, Hip Havelock North, or vibrant Hastings which has a weekly Farmers Market offering an array of local Hawkes bay produce and delights.
