Great place!

Awesome little place! Close to town but out of the way enough to hear the surrounding bird life. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location!

This was a great place to stay, handy location, close to town but far enough away that you had a peaceful location next to the river. I would definitely recommend Lance and Sandra as hosts, they were great, helpful, and friendly. A1!Handy to Huka Falls track and the Bungy.

Best location in the region

We stay a night or two, every 2-3 month in Taupo, and found this to be the best location so far. Friendly hosts, private and secluded yet close to everything we needed. We will surely be back. Cheers John & Estelle :-)

Quiet retreat

The accomodation was as described, comfortable lounge and bed, clean bathroom. Beautiful views from the accomodation and can walk down closer to the river from the property. Owners had the heat pump on for our arrival so nice and warm. Quiet and relaxing yet only minutes into town.

This was a gorgeous unit very well equiped in a beautiful area. There are actually 2 units next door to each other, if you're traveling with another couple and want your own space perfect. Easy excess to a lovely walking track, I love my walking, I walked back from Huka Falls one day and walked the other side back to the falls the next. Beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing view

Great little cottage only a few minutes from the centre of town and with postcard views out over Waikato river. The view really is as good as the photos in the listing! And a very short walk from your back door down to the river itself. A great little space for our stay, just what we were after.

A hidden gem

This home was perfect for our attendance at a 3-day conference, being just a few minutes' drive from the center of Taupo but feeling miles away from the bustle, with beautiful river views and access to walking trails. The home is comfortable, presented well, and felt very clean. Hosts very welcoming and communication easy.
